Siguiendo con series Marvel, luego de acabar la anterior(link), seguí inmediatamente con Loki, serie enfocada en para muchos el villano más carismático del mundo cinematográfico de Marvel. Esta serie fue estrenada en junio de este año, siendo dirigida por Kate Herron. 6 capítulos de aproximadamente 50 minutos cada uno.

Continuing with Marvel series, after finishing the previous one(link), I immediately followed with Loki, series focused on for many the most charismatic villain of the Marvel cinematic world. This series was released in June of this year, being directed by Kate Herron. 6 chapters of approximately 50 minutes each.

Los eventos de esta serie, ocurren inmediatamente después de que Loki escapa con el teseracto en Avengers: Endgame. Loki luego de escapar a un lugar desconocido, es atrapado por la Autoridad de Variación Temporal, encargada de que la línea del tiempo no tenga variaciones severas. Ahí se verá enfrentado por las autoridades del lugar, y solicitado para resolver un caso. Por otro lado, poco a poco irá descubriendo lo que se esconde detrás de esta organización.

The events of this series occur immediately after Loki escapes with the tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. Loki, after escaping to an unknown location, is trapped by the Time Variation Authority, in charge of ensuring that the timeline does not have severe variations. There he will be confronted by the local authorities and asked to solve a case. On the other hand, he will gradually discover what is hidden behind this organization.

El gran punto fuerte de esta serie es el contexto que se crea, muy original, y que permite crear un mundo con sus propias reglas y personajes del mismo. Este nuevo ambiente, tendrá problemas propios a resolver y soluciones inesperadas. La serie cambia de tonos por episodio, al comienzo se vuelve un tanto detectivesco, luego pasa a aventura, y finalmente a fantasía con comedia. Tiene escenas de acción pero las justas.

The great strength of this series is the context that is created, very original, and that allows to create a world with its own rules and characters. This new environment will have its own problems to solve and unexpected solutions. The series changes tones per episode, at the beginning it becomes a bit detective, then it goes to adventure, and finally to fantasy with comedy. It has action scenes but just enough.

Creo que si bien es una serie que enganchará a muchos, en mi caso, me costó avanzar el episodio del 2 al 4, el tramo final se vuelve más divertido. Hay un excelente trabajo en efectos especiales, especialmente necesario para los capítulos finales. Tal vez, lo más raro es el toque de romance que tiene, innecesario.

I think that while it is a series that will hook many, in my case, I found it hard to advance the episode from 2 to 4, the final stretch becomes more fun. There is some excellent special effects work, especially needed for the final chapters. Perhaps, the weirdest thing is the touch of romance it has, unnecessary.

Tom Hiddleston como siempre logra llenar de carisma al personaje, logrando crear un simpático dúo con Owen Wilson, Mobius en la serie. Los demás aspectos técnicos cumplen.

Tom Hiddleston as always manages to fill the character with charisma, managing to create a nice duo with Owen Wilson, Mobius in the series. The other technical aspects comply.

He de decir que si bien la serie tiene un entorno interesante, no me llega a convencer del todo, salvo sus episodios finales. Lo recomiendo a los fanáticos de Marvel, y especialmente a los que gustan del “Dios de las mentiras”.

I have to say that although the series has an interesting environment, it does not convince me completely, except for the final episodes. I recommend it to Marvel fans, and especially to those who like the "God of lies".
