TGIF 🎊 and a very warm welcome to my report. Finally the weekend is here and the stepping continued without a hitch😹.
Thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my day went including the trending stories that caught my eye 👀.
Here we go again, come on 💨.
So I started my day with some stretching moves then I was outdoors for the usual morning walk.
A beautiful sunny 🌞 but chilly day was what awaited as I made my way around the neighborhood.
After about twenty minutes, I was back indoors handling the usual house chores. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the city centre 🌳 for some errand.
It was both sunny 🌞 and cloudy ☁️ as I made my way. Once completed I was back home resting watching some YouTube, X and the trending stories.
The slow paced sunset 🌄 walk was what followed this evening as I concluded my day. So that's how my day turned out.
Let's now turn our attention to the trending stories.
Lebanon still trending as fighting continued at the southern border. Two Lebanese soldiers were killed by Israeli forces in Kafra area😿.
Lebanese PM, Najib Mikati has demanded for a ceasefire especially after yesterday's bombing in Beirut where 22 people were killed as a populated surburb was hit by Israeli airstrikes without any prior warnings 🙀.
In Gaza strip, another horrendous bloody day unfolded. The fighting in north part in Jabalia refugee camp kept going, as well as airstrikes in central Gaza🙀.
Today's death toll reported as 56 Palestinians killed😿.
In the other war, Ukrainian president Zelensky, continued his European tour with a stop in Germany where he talked with Chancellor Olaf Sholz. He pledged weapons package for Ukraine.
In the UK, a shocking case of a 36 year old woman who killed both her parents in 2019🙀, and hid their bodies in the house.
She then continued using their credit cards and incoming pensions. Meanwhile, always making excuses for their whereabouts🙀.
She got a well deserved life sentence and must serve a minimum of 36 years to be considered for parole.
In Sweden, the Nobel peace prize was given to a Japanese nuclear disarmament group. This is for their activism against nuclear weapons with the help of victims of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Congratulations 🎉 to them🎊💯.
Across the pond in the US, Trump's campaign team has requested use of military aircraft to protect the former president in the final weeks of the election race.
They are convinced, without evidence, that Iran may have been behind the two recent assassination attempts against the former president😹.
Finally, the northern lights, have been seen across the skies in Europe yesterday and tonight. I don't notice the colourful display in the skies but from the videos I watched it looks wonderful😹.
