Happy Caturday 🐈 and a very warm welcome to my report. Its the weekend and the kitties are invading the blockchain once again 😹. If you have a kitty, definitely share those pictures😻.
Anyways, I have had a nice day and it's that time of day to slow down n get ready for bed. As always thank you for being here,let's do this 💨.
I began my day with the morning walk around the neighborhood. It was a mixture of sunny 🌞 and cloudy ☁️ weather as I made my way.
Later, I was back indoors handling the usual house chores including cooking and laundry.
As the day progressed, I settled down to some you tube and Twitter following up on the days trending stories.
Then finally, I was out for the sunset 🌄 walk this evening around 7pm. A beautiful sunny evening was what i found as I made my way around the neighborhood and park 🌲.
So that was my day, now lets look at what was trending.
In the UK, the NHS has warned of disruptions next week after that IT outage yesterday. Though the system is working fine there's still some backlog🙀.
In the middle east, Israeli jets have struck Yemen after yesterday's houthi drone hit Tel Aviv, killing one person and injured ten😿.
Today Israel retaliated by hitting targets in Hodeidah port which it claims is an entry point for weapons from Iran🙀.
Deaths reported and the houthis have vowed to revenge. Israel still trying to figure out how its multi layered air defence system failed to stop that houthi drone.
Meanwhile, 37 Palestinians have been killed in ongoing airstrikes on residential areas in Nusierat refugee camp in Gaza 😿.
As usual, demonstrators are out in Tel Aviv asking for their loved ones to be released from Gaza. Demanding Netanyahu resign and call for elections🙀. Definitely not going to happen soon.
Speaking of demonstrations, Bangladesh trending as violent anti govt protests have killed 105 people😿. A state of emergency has been declared with the army patrolling the streets to enforce the curfew🙀.
The internet has been shut down to slow down regrouping of crowds.
Across the pond in the US, crowds have gathered in Michigan where Trump has been campaigning with his chosen VP, JD Vance.
I guess security must be quite high following the assassination attempt last week.
Meanwhile, Biden issued a statement saying he will be back on the campaign trail next week. Definitely not listening to those asking him to step down😹.
