Hello everyone 👋,

Please give it up for Bob and yours truly on this wonderful Caturday 😹; I earlier christened it- Bob on the blockchain day😹 as all kinds of kitties claw their way on to the blockchain this new month of May😻😸.
It's been another ordinary day stepping it out. As always am grateful for this day, as I always say, there are many who wanted to see it but didn't, so we are definitely blessed💯. Anyways thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been including trending news from around the globe. Here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighbourhood 🌲. Today was much warmer than yesterday so I made the most of it in the fresh morning air🍃. Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a stop at the mall for groceries. After a bit of walking and window shopping, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of youtube and the interesting EPL football matches,
The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹. The govt has warned people living close to dams to vacate as the current heavy rains are filling the dams at a very fast rate. Disaster awaits Incase any of them bursts.
Globally, the situation in Gaza is still the same. At least 15 Palestinians killed during Israeli airstrikes across Gaza on Saturday😿.
Also trending, the head of UN world food program has said northern Gaza is experiencing a full blown famine🙀. We have already seen 31 people die from hunger and malnutrition.
That number set to rise of aid doesn't get in as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, serious ceasefire talks are underway in Cairo Egypt. The CIA director is also in attendance.
Senior Hamas spokesman said a guarantee is needed that Rafa won't be invaded. Israel must give clear commitments and stick to them. Hamas also want Israel to completely withdraw from Gaza.
Let's wait and see and hope for a positive outcome💯.
In neighbouring Israel, tens of thousands of people came out and took part in anti govt protests 🙀.
They want PM Netanyahu to resign for his handling of Gaza war.
They are demanding for release of their loved ones being held hostage in Gaza.
Let's go to Europe, UK trending as Sadiq Khan won a historic third term as mayor of London🎉oh wow congratulations🎊.
Khan, a labour candidate beat conservative rival Susan Hall by more than 276,000 votes😹.
Across the pond in the US , students have remained encamped on many campuses🙀. They are calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and their universities divest from Israel.
Some of those protests have turned violent when police move in to dismantle the encampments. It always ends in arrests.
