Please give it up for Bob and yours truly on this wonderful Caturday 😹, the last one of 2023; I earlier christened it- Bob on the blockchain day😸 as all kitties claw their way on to the blockchain😻
It's been another ordinary day stepping it out. As always am grateful for this day, as I always say, there are many who wanted to see it but didn't, so we are definitely blessed💯. Anyways thank you for stopping by and let's quickly take a look at how my day has been including trending news from around the globe. Lets take it away 💨
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. Today was much warmer than yesterday so I made the most of it in the fresh morning air🍃. Then I was back indoors for a bit of resting before embarking on the little house chores around the house. Up and down and in between I kept watching the news for trending stories. Then later in the afternoon a stop at the mall for groceries. After a bit of walking and window shopping, I was back indoors sleeping for the usual refreshing afternoon nap💤. The evening came in quite swiftly, I was up, cooking and watching a bit of youtube. There were also some good games going in the EPL.
The sunset walk came as it was almost getting dark, as always slow paced enjoying the cool evening/night breeze. I finally made it back home safe and sound calling it a day. So that was my day but lets finish with some of the trending stories.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹. We are still on holiday mode as we await the new year😸.
In Gaza another devastating day as Israel airstrikes kept going. Death toll in last 24hours, 165 Palestinians killed. Israeli forces carried out airstrikes and ground operations in central and southern Gaza. Palestinian fighters mounted resistance as Israel advanced into central Gaza.
In Israel, PM Netanyahu has said the war will continue for many months until objectives are achieved🙀. He was speaking during a mass rally convened by families of Hamas captives who are demanding their release. The PM added that Iran was behind all terrorist activities in the region🙀.
In Europe, Ukraine trending as they bombed the city of Belgorod in Russia. This after Russia's big attack in Ukraine yesterday. 14 deaths reported😭.
Russia has bombed residential buildings and a hotel in Kharkiv.
Also trending in Europe, pro Palestinian demonstrations have been held in Spain, France and Germany calling for a ceasefire in Gaza that will end the deaths of many innocent civilians. Today the death toll is at 21,672 dead😭 since October 7.
Finally, thousands rallied in Serbian capital to protest against alleged vote rigging in recent election🙀. Let's hope their voices will be heard and a recounting or reelection held💯.
