My Actifit Report Card: November 18 2023.....Happy Caturday 🐈😹🐆🐯🍃🔆⛅🌿🍀🌳🍃🎄🌄🌅🎊🎉🙀

Happy Saturday or is it Caturday 🐈😹. Please give it up for Bob and other furry friends🐾 as they take over the blockchain, you definitely know the drill😻. Anyways I hope your day is going on great as you keep enjoying the weekend. Mine has been fantastic and it's now time to wrap things up and look at what's been trending and how my day went.As always thank you for reading and let's dive in.
So I had two major walks, starting with the morning 🌞 session. It was a short walk in the fresh morning breeze 🍃. The sun was out but in few minutes it turned cloudy and started drizzling so I had to get back indoors 😹.I rested for a while then handled the usual household chores. Then was watching news, a bit of you tube catching up with some crypto news.In the afternoon I had my nap and then woke up to some cooking.
I did finish up the day as usual with the sunset walk, then headed home safely.
So now let's quickly look at the stories that trended. Locally the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, not a quiet day as another day of horror unfolded in Gaza. At least 200 Palestinians killed as Israeli bombing targeted 2 schools that had families sheltering in them. They are run by the UN with UN flags at the top. Israeli army have their coordinates but still bombed them😿.
Victims were buried in mass graves while the injured were rushed to Indonesia hospital that has run out of supplies🙀. The situation is dire, slowly turning into hell on earth.
Meanwhile, in north Gaza, Israel army ordered displaced people sheltering in Al shifa hospital to leave. People left in the hundreds some carrying their injured relatives as they headed to the south🙀.
Across the pond in the US, UN experts have warned that failure to implement a ceasefire risks the situation spiralling into a genocide. Adding that international community must urgently act to prevent a genocide.
Meanwhile in Israel families of Hamas captives were protesting in Tel Aviv demanding the release of captives and asking their govt to do more to secure their release.
Speaking of protests, pro Palestinian demonstrations were held in many cities around the globe including London, Paris, Sidon, Brazilia, Santiago; protesters calling for an end to deaths.
Finally, with the war in Gaza we have forgotten about Ukraine. But the war rages on in the east. Ukraine say they have achieved a breakthrough ahead of a usually harsh winter. They have gained a foothold on the eastern bank of Dnipro river, potentially allowing them to transfer vital equipment across the river.
Russia had been focusing its efforts on eastern Ukraine with fighting continuing around Bakhmut and Donetsk.
