Status Update / Devlog [ENG/DEU] about CryptoCompany CEO | Sort of Devlog #1

Yeah that worked out great so far with the devlog about @CryptoCompany CEO I was going to write on @PowerPaul, huh? Does anyone still remember? It was weeks ago! Now that the game is coming - and should be slow, I really need to hit the keys again.

And before I talk about anything else, first a little update. Here and there people already got glimpses of the upcoming release, already discovered the new website and its access code. For those who haven't caught it:


We are well on our way to "release" CryptoCompany CEO "the next few days". By the way, as WebGL in your web browser! I write this in quotes, because it is known, that we start and develop step by step. But so that this doesn't sound totally relativizing,

here is a small overview:

• CryptoCompany CEO will be a browser game.
• We expect to have it running within the next few days.
• 107+ Hivians already have an access code.
• Currently 4 mini-games / contests with corresponding prizes (hard SWAP.HIVE!) should be ready and waiting for the first players.



And since I'm just in the run to deliver status report:

• Yes, we have not forgotten the CCDPACKS. Even though we are also putting a lot of energy into the upcoming release, because we would like to (and have to) deliver game experience to you, we are still working on corresponding CCDPACK topics. Don't be sad, because corresponding delays cause us to think about how to say "sorry". Therefore:


All Hivians who hold a CCDPACK in their wallet will receive an access code to the game. I will integrate the list of the corresponding Hivians into our access database on the day the game goes online. Hence the + at 107+. Some CCDPACK owners have already acquired the access code through their CCPower or status as a 99er. We will see the exact number on the day when the game is ready to run in a few days as announced. Of course, there will be a notification about it "everywhere" ;-)

On which day exactly the game will be available, we can't say yet, because we are currently working on technical processes within the compilation of the game on our server, the download and update process. Despite the huge challenge of implementing this in a stable way for the first time for such a big project, we are progressing step by step. One thing is clear: we all would have liked to have the game yesterday.



Many thanks again for all the indulgence, which you can announce in the comments or our Discord. (There are occasional little Discord-exclusive sneak peeks there, too.) We certainly have enough stress and tension, thoughts and fear... But we are also proud to realize such a project at all and to actually be at this point where we are. And honestly, away from all the stress, lack of sleep and our own exploitation:

Ja das hat ja bisher super geklappt, mit dem Devlog über @CryptoCompany CEO, den ich auf @PowerPaul schreiben wollte, was? Erinnert sich noch wer? War vor Wochen! Da das Spiel ja nun im Anmarsch ist - und auch langsam sein sollte, muss ich echt mal wieder in die Tasten hauen.

Und bevor ich über irgendetwas anderes spreche, zuerst ein kleines Update. Hier und da haben Leute schon Einblicke in die kommende Veröffentlichung erhalten, haben bereits die neue Website und ihren Access Code entdeckt. Wer es nicht mitbekommen hat:

Wir sind auf gutem Wege, CryptoCompany CEO "die nächsten Tage" zu "veröffentlichen". Im übrigen als WebGL in deinem Webbrowser! Ich schreibe das vorsichtshalber mal in Gänsefüsschen, da ja bekannt ist, das wir Schrittweise starten bzw. uns entwickeln. Damit das aber nicht total relativierend klingt,

hier mal eine kleine Übersicht.

• CryptoCompany CEO wird ein Browserspiel.
• Wir rechnen damit, es innerhalb der nächsten Tage lauffähig zu haben.
• 107+ Hivians haben bereits einen Access Code.
• Aktuell 4 Mini-Spiele / Wettbewerbe mit entsprechenden Gewinnen (harte SWAP.HIVE!) sollten lauffähig sein und warten sodann auf die ersten Spieler.

Und da ich gerade so schön dabei bin, Statusbericht abzuliefern:

• Ja, wir haben die CCDPACK nicht vergessen. Auch wenn wir gerade auch viel Energie auf die kommende Veröffentlichung legen, da wir Euch gerne Spielerlebnis liefern würden (und müssen), sind wir weiterhin an entsprechendem Themenfeld CCDPACK. Nicht traurig sein, denn entsprechende Verzögerungen führen dazu, das wir uns Gedanken machen, wie wir "Sorry" sagen können. Daher:

Alle Hivians, welche ein CCDPACK in ihrem Wallet halten, erhalten einen Access Code zum Spiel. Die Liste der entsprechenden Hivians werde ich am Tag der Onlinestellung des Spiels in unsere Zugangsdatenbank integrieren. Daher das + bei 107+. Manche CCDPACK Besitzer haben sich bereits durch ihre CCPower oder den Status als 99er den Zugangscode erworben. Die exakte Zahl sehen wir dann an dem Tag, wenn das Spiel wie angekündigt in ein paar Tagen lauffähig ist. Natürlich gibt es dafür dann "überall" eine Benachrichtigung darüber. ;-)

An welchem Tag genau das Spiel aufrufbar sein wird, können wir noch nicht sagen, da wir aktuell an technischen Prozessen innerhalb der Kompilierung des Spiels auf unserem Server, des Download- und Updatevorgangs arbeiten. Trotz der gewaltigen Herausforderung, dies stabil zum ersten mal für ein solch großes Projekt umzusetzen, kommen wir jedoch Schritt für Schritt voran. Klar ist: wir hätten uns das Spiel alle gestern schon gewünscht.

Vielen Dank auch an dieser Stelle nochmal für all die Nachsicht, welche Ihr in den Kommentaren oder unserem Discord (dort gibt es gelegentlich auch kleine Discord-Exklusiv-Einblicke) verlauten lasst. Wir haben gewiss ausreichend Stress und Anspannung, Gedanken und Muffensausen... Aber wir sind auch stolz, ein solches Vorhaben überhaupt umzusetzen und nun tatsächlich an diesem Punkt zu sein, wo wir sind. Und ehrlich gesagt, abseits von all dem Stress, dem Schlafmangel und der eigenen Ausbeutung:
