TURNING POINT FOR EV
Usually when oil is part of a story . Here in the US we have enjoyed some cheap gas for sometimes. On and off we have some years where the gallon at the station is around $2. Inflation with everything else have pushed the price for regular near $4.
It is hard to deal with it when you need gas to go to work and do your business.
Higher gas price causes everything around it to go high.
I have read about carbon tax. I have read many European countries push for electric vehicle so they can stay away from oil. This is the same plan here in the states. I see lately a lot more Tesla than before. I have seen some VW and the Mustang model as well. So it is well received to see renewable energy is in the mind of many.
I think this crisis will make EV more interesting for the long run. By the way do you remember the story about EV1? I think this GM car was an electric car before its time. Along the way many car makers like Toyota did focus on hybrid but not full EV per se.
If oil is going to remain high for the foreseeable future you can be sure EV is going to take a huge piece of the car market.
Luckily we have more than one company selling them. Tesla is the best at selling only EV vehicle. You probably heard a guy messing with his Tesla to mine crypto. Somehow crypto has to get itself on the mix. In the 21st century the speed technology is moving is fantastic.

We already do the daily charging for phones, gadgets and many more. Why not the cars, trucks we use daily? It will take sometimes but not that long. I think in the next 10 years EV will be more than gas cars. The price has to go down to push the alternative. The roadblock here in the US for EV has to do with long trip. Folks with Tesla do spend almost the same amount of time driving within the East coast within 12 hours drive. It is only 20 minutes with fast charging and you get easily 120+ miles of driving on top of what you had.
This is why Tesla is the most valuable car company in the world. It is practical and it works in general. Lately the choice is getting wider and competition will lower the price. I am not sure if it may happen due to the situation evolving these days. I always wonder if we all buy electric car, is the electricity charging the car renewable? This is a story for another time.
Sooner or later oil has fulfill its part for the advancement of the world.
Even crypto is under pressure to be mined free of fossil fuel.
So you know change is coming.
Change is needed.
Keep on vesting.

Like you, I want it to spread quickly and everywhere
We hope the oil bleeding will stop
Some countries will not be thrilled when they realized the power within EV.
I am hoping my next ride is EV.

.The price of oil has doubled in my country in 2022, and it looks it won't stop if the world go on to be crazy.
The bigger problem the price may not come down soon.
Some places the price stays right there even though the flow of oil increases.

It is amazing how much oil has gone up.
I would say it is madness for the price to go up.
It is like you are working the gas station.

EV is definitely the future. It's green and renewable energy unlike oil/gas and much cheaper alternative as well. This sector is going to boom in the upcoming years. I have started seeing this in India.

In South Florida Teslas are everywhere.
I have seen quite a few ID4 and the Volvo model.
It is coming strong and I hope the price becomes affordable for everyone.

.If in this aspect the future also calls for the polluting nature of gasoline vehicles, in addition to the cost of oil, electric vehicles will soon be widely used in many parts of the world.
I think EV will be on the rise as electricity becomes cheaper. While gas may push prices up, I don't really think it is enough to really be the turning point. There are just too many issues that EVs need to solve before they can be affordable enough for everyone and gas produces a lot of the electricity we do use.

Yeah it is a delicate situation for both parties.
EV does not use gas or need service like crazy.
But we use gas to produce electricity.
Eventually it will sorts itself out with a degree where EV will stands as the best initiative.

Yeah, the recent turmoil in Ukraine and Russia has paved the way to be more eco-friendly. But the sources of EV must be nature friendly or the effect remains same as in the fossil fuel era.
