With April out of the way by Sunday we have 8 months to go into the calendar year. You may have witnessed everything so far this year. Inflation, pandemic, war, you name it, everything you can think of that can throw you around. Fortunately we are resilient and still going. In the crypto world slowly we are moving and it is a force to reckon with.

I was looking at data for April and I found some highlights you can verify yourself by going to the source for the pic above. More than 5 billion folks navigate the internet. Either by smartphone or regular computers. This is an astounding number to think of. Social media plays a major role to that aspect. Every time I read social I see the power behind Hive system coupled with Hive token. It is like buy one get one free. Hive is everything a social media incorporated. While I envy the other big name like #twitter, #tiktok and others, #Hive allows users to learn crypto and grow financially.

Since the world population is roaming around 8 billion, you can expect less than 3 billion with no connection to the net. In 2022 it is still possible to think a billion folks are not connecting. Without further ado Asia is occupying a big portion of this dilemma while Asia itself has a lot more folks connected. One fact though if you are online at anytime you may be connected to social media.

Again I think of Hive in a good way. Time always favors innovation. People need to know what they are using and find benefit using it. It takes time to build rapport and continue to build on top it.

If I recall around 2017 it was a meager 5% of the world population using crypto. Now it is sitting around 11% and growing. Turkey is on top with 23.8% while Morocco is under 2%. With crypto as an incoming innovation you need internet ability for you to interact. Internet, connection, crypto and social media all work together to change the face of the world.

There are so much to see around the world with the help of the internet. If I go back in the first pic you can see the internet is a way for many to find information. This is what drive the world and keep it moving fast financially. As you may know English is the language you will find most of the websites. They are a lot of other languages used on the internet but only a few will go there to read them. Go back to Hive, there are posts in different languages but in English everyone will read it and able to comment.

It will be nice if everyone picks a day to write in a different language to enhance diversity. At least the blockchain will appreciate this surge for that day. So much is tied to social media. Work, fun, financial services you can have a list on your own. It seems social media is the evolution that replace how we communicate with each other.
Grabbing a phone to make a phone call will look so outdated.
April has been good for many Hivers. The airdrops are continuing despite the cliffhanger of the market lately. We are approaching the slow months where plans are needed to stay afloat.
Social media is here to thrive. Crypto is right there moving quite fast underneath.
