OH MY! CHELSEA DID IT!
Aston Villa, thank you for this giving Chelsea such a hard time in the first half. They should score as much goals as they want if they have Lukaku. By the way #Manchester United is cruising quite well today. When you have CR7 onboard, this season is coming to bloom all the way. EPL is having the fun of the fans this time.
Watching the game from the beginning I want to give it up again to Aston Villa for sticking to their game. Aston took care of possession of the game. They made key changes to force Chelsea. The left side was really over utilized by Aston to score and change the dynamics of the game.
Saul could not adjust properly throughout the first half allowing Aston to run the way they want.
If it was not to Chelsea defense, the result could be different. Watching the first half was not the best to watch from Chelsea. Lukaku touched the ball once and that was the goal. I mean, allow Lukaku to have more touches is like giving him a candy jar where he can pick his place on the field.
Second half was more open and joyful to watch. Chelsea found ways to hold on to the ball. Jorginho with Kovacic did take care of business right in the middle. The mistake for the second goal got me to laugh. Chelsea playing crappy first half, found a moment to shine and cause more pain to Aston Villa.
There is no denying Chelsea is way better than Aston. It is the way the game was played that captures my attention. Chelsea could have done a lot better job in offense. Having lukaku upfront hardly touching the ball is a little hard to swallow. Actually Lukaku made sure any chances he gets turn to a goal.
It was defining moment at the end of the game to see him adding another headache for Aston.
As a whole it was a decent game for both teams where Chelsea proves to be the superior team. It is getting a little bit easy for Chelsea as long Lukaku can get the ball at the right moment. He does not miss much when money is on the line. This season is getting frantic every passing matchday.

Chelsea and Manutd are on my watch list..
I think Chelsea has the strongest team in the EPL right now.
I feel there is a Ronaldo effect but the problem with manutd is the defensive midfield.
A team like man city or Chelsea might rip manutd apart.
Manutd is not balanced as a team.
I have not watched them fully.
They better ride that CR7 momentum

Chelsea are really impressive since Thomas Tuchel arrival, there is no doubt Chelsea will end the season with a trophy even having Lukaku at the upfront.
Yeah Lukaku is serious business.
This is like the missing link for them.

Aston Villa played a good first half but this Chelsea with Lukaku took advantage of their opportunities and made a good difference. This season of EPL will be great Chelsea, ManCity and ManU will be protagonists until the end.

I am with you on Chelsea looking the most complete team right now. If Lukaku gets injured though they are in trouble.
Watching the game he hardly touch the ball like the defense or the midfielders.
Oh my his touches when done at the right timing are troublesome and he wants to score.
I would like to see him with Werner and see how much they can bring upfront.
Yes that would be interesting to see how they play together and if Werner can improve the teams attacking capabilities. I do worry though when a team relies heavily on one player.
That's a big problem to account for. As long goals are flowing everybody is happy.
Lukaku should be a decoy in the middle and allow the side guys to bring the ball in to him.
I hope he got due rest for EPL, UEFA, and the other two trophies you can get as well.
That's true but one cannot rule out the fact that Chelsea won the Champions league and Super League without a proper striker.
Chelsea have missed a decent quality striker for some time. You must be thrilled having Lukaku on board. Let's see if they can keep up the consistency

The first half was definitely not far from being nightmarish for Chelsea fans. Apparently, we suffer almost everytime we don't have Kante or Jorginho. Big ups to Kovacic for making that much impact. Definitely there'd be better days ahead for Saul. And please, can someone get more balls to my Lukaku?😩
Chelsea is currently doing a lot better than different clubs in the premier league right now because aside from the force in the attack, they are doing a great job in the defense.
Imagine what they played against Liverpool despite been a man down, they have stepped up their game and it shows how effective the coach is.
Manchester United are doing great as well and the introduction of Ronaldo into the team would do them a lot of good.
Lukaku improved a lot as a player thanks to Conte and Pintus. At Inter he became a total beast and if he is smart he will do everything he to keep up with that performance. Chelsea really needed an important central striker and now they have one, they are going to be even better than last year.
I am impressed with Lukaku. He left as a boy and came back as a man. He came back to prove a lot of people wrong with determination. His first touch and pace has been criticised a lot but he is showing them there is more to him than goals. The way he links up, hold up play and finish his chances are amazing. His second goal against Villa was spectacular, simply out of nothing and he smashed it home with perfection.
