Invito a @katleya a participar
ENGLISH
The town celebrates the patron saint festivities in honor of San Francisco de Asis, an event that lasts seven days of revelry, parties, songs and dances in honor of the patron saint of animals.
The priest celebrates the mass where the villagers take their animals to be blessed. A line of chickens, ducks, cows, dogs, cats, pigs, cows, goats and so on wait at the doors of the church. They all have the right to receive the holy water to protect them from all evil.
They were in the middle of the dusty road when a dark figure with a hat covering his face approached the queue carrying a goat tied by the neck. The animals become nervous, the chickens flap their wings, the mule brays, Mrs. Ernestina's cat runs to hide with a meow, the dogs bare their fangs, tucking their tails between their legs. A strong smell of sulfur emanates from that man.
Everyone turns to look at the newcomer. His look under his hat is frightening.
"Here I am, little father, I have come from far away, from where the wind turns back, to give the blessing to the goat."
The priest, a young man with only a few months in office, begins to tremble.
"What's the matter? Look, I have walked a long way, I am tired and patience is not my virtue. Don't tell me that you . And as he says these words, he takes off his hat revealing his horns and some enormous hooves show under his pants.
People and animals run terrified in all directions, only thinking of getting away as fast and as far as possible.
Miguel the altar boy and the priest Sebastian run to hide in a neighboring house. Trembling with fear, they begin to pray that they will not be found while they hear the sound of hooves getting closer and closer.
In an act of faith, they decide to confront the devil and upon seeing him arrive, Father Julian with the crucifix in front of him begins to say the prayers asking for help to San Francisco, while Miguel is pouring the holy water.
Everything happened very fast, the devil disappeared but his legs were scorched as a warning that he would return.
The townspeople never returned,

@popurri You are one of my most favorite writers, I hope you will guide me, I have been on hive for 8 months, still I don't understand some things.
No one sees all my stories written on writing club, maybe I have some lack of rules, my 6-7 stories have gone completely useless, after working so hard, I feel sad if there is no result.
Please kindly inform me about the rules.
Hello @fantom22, sorry I had not answered you is that there are many failures with the internet and I'm going slowly.
What you are going through with your publications in the Writing Club community has also happened to me and many of the people who write in Hive with this and other communities.
I understand when you say you feel sad but don't be discouraged.
There are many factors that influence and they don't have to do with the rules, but to be sure you have to read them.
Try writing at different times to see if it improves the visibility of your posts and it may also help if you comment on other writers in the community.
This is a literary community and you can write about many genres. This link may help you.

@popurri I was not only hoping but also have full faith that I would get the answer, that's why I asked only you for guidance in such a large HIVE community. It seems that someday you will definitely make your own community on a good subject.
You write such a good post even though you are suffering from your internet problem, you gave me a perfect answer, what happened it is late?
I will be very grateful to you.
