Darkness was my end
Darkness was my end
I was floating, floating on the warm water
In the distance I saw you on a hill near the sea
and I was inside the water
Closer and closer my mind's eyes went through
Till I could see you but couldn’t move towards you
There was a hidden fence pushing me back
The doves around you were shiny white
Flying around you with white wings melting
You said : Do you not see them ?
My eyes melted by the windy fire
and went into the striped lines of
fenced black and red inside you
Slowly melted and melted away
You asked again : Do you not see them ?
I cried and cried but the fiery tears dried
there is the blue shiny water underneath me
I went down and down
Fell inside the water and outside the fire
You laughed and looked back at
the white shiny dove on your hand : "This is beautiful !"
I went down and down
You laughed and laughed
I could see the sun above for a moment,
but darkness was my end
I drowned
This poem is meant to express a vision. A prophetic vision showing the separation of two people who experienced what we call " a strong bond", but one of them was not in the same vibration or understanding of life as the other. That's why at the end we see she is drowned in her own lack of knowledge and understanding. Maybe this was her first experience having this sort of connection and she wants to be separated from it because she doesn't know any better or how to handle it.
