ESO - Sugar Bowl Suite
I bought a house! I say a house... I mean a room at an inn.
It's right up those stairs.
The Elder Scrolls Online has player housing and many, many houses to choose from (or save up for all of them!). The prices and sizes vary and the cheapest ones are inn rooms. Some you get for free as a starter quest, others cost 3000 gold.
I've got a couple of free inn rooms, got one huge manor house from buying an expansion and I bought a small, but very cute, house with a little courtyard. I was browsing all of the houses today and stumbled upon the name 'Sugar Bowl Suite'. It sounded cute, so I had to check it out!
It's an inn room, which isn't really all that spectacular, but I did like the style of this one (look at the cute windows!).
I figured I'd check out the town it was situated in: Rimmen. Turns out, I've been here once before and I quite liked the looks of this town! It's very extravagant and happy! Sooooo I figured, why the heck not, and bough the room. Then I created some decoration and filled it up nicely.
Turns out, it's still roomy enough to fill it up as a full living space, so that was a nice surprise! Maybe I should start decorating my other inn rooms...
The city of Rimmen is located in Northern Elseweyr where I hadn't spend much time up until a couple of weeks ago. Which is when I figured out there were dragons to be fought.
After fighting a couple of those dragons though, and dying a lot... A LOT... I figured it might not exactly be the best place for me. At the very least I should avoid those dragons when I'm low on soul gems (which you use to resurrect yourself on the spot).
Inside the city it's safe though, and cheerful! Right outside of the inn room is the wayshrine, which you can use to travel all over the world to other wayshrines freely.
The bank is also close by, so that's a bonus too. I don't think access to the Outlaws Refuge is close enough though, so if I'm wanted by the law, I might have to pick one of my other houses, or wait it out inside. Or be very sneaky and lucky to avoid the guards...
The crafting area is nearby aswell, just a sprint straight ahead. It's pretty handy, like most towns, because it has all of the stations neatly in one spot.
I like the messy and colorful looks of it. Feels like some sort of market quare.
And that, my friends, was my little tour throughout Rimmen and my new inn room. Hope you enjoyed it!

Haha.. I LIKE your décor style!! Very nice and makes me want to put in dark green or dark red tapestries. The playfulness of the fantasy feels nearly as expansive as your new room.... Nice.
Aah, thank you! I'm quite happy with the new room 😊

Lovely decorating!! 😊 The Khajiit style is my favourite!
The housing system in ESO was one of my favourite things about that game! I really need to get my partner to try it again so I can hop back into the game and not be alone xD -- he was one of the ones who tried it at launch but didn't like it because it wasn't Skyrim Online. 🙄
I only started the game when Summerset was released and then quit it for a looong time for some reason. Pretty happy to get back into it though! It IS nice to have a partner for the harder parts and maybe to speed up some boring quests 😄
In the beginning I thought ypu were talking about a real house and I was wondering what this post is doing in hive gaming community. Lol. Then finally I knew it was about a game.
Well that's a good decision to save you from the dragon.
Haha, I'm good at writing confusing posts 😅
Good to know this 😂
