THE BEST OF THE WEEK (# 17 and 18): Chickpea and Carrot Cubes, Green bean Falafel, Moist apple muffins, Vegan chorizo tacos, Vegan Pumpkin Chili, Mashed Cassava
Today we publish other edition of the special curatorship, which will complement the MEATLESS MONDAY; that we have called: THE BEST OF THE WEEK. Our intention with this post is to recognize the best of the best of the posts that you, friends of Hivers, share weekly in our Plant Power (Vegan) community, selecting the top three recipes from the previous week; which on this occasion corresponds to the period from Wednesday, September 28, to Tuesday, October 11, 2022. This time we will cover two consecutive weeks, since last Wednesday, October 5, 2022, it was not possible to make this publication, so today we will recognize 6 excellent recipes that have been published in our community throughout these two weeks.
Each of the selected publications will be reviewed in this curatorship, and in turn, its author will be awarded 0.5 Hive in order to give him/her a modest recognition for the excellence and quality of his/her work.
Having said all of the above, let's see which recipes are THE BEST OF THE WEEK in this edition
(ESP) Mi propuesta para hoy: Cubos de Garbanzos con Zanahoria (ING) My proposal for today: Chickpea and Carrot Cubes | by @sovebrito
In general, @sovebrito brings interesting proposals to the community, with particular names, and this post was no exception, since she has brought a delicious snack, some cubes of chickpeas with carrots, crispy and golden, which she has called Cubed flavor, and without a doubt it is a very good recipe, which deserves to be part of The Best of the Week.
Green bean Falafel [ESP - ENG] | by @aguamiel
If anyone puts an interesting twist on her recipes, it's @aguamiel. Often she uses an unusual ingredient, or uses a different technique, that takes the recipe to a higher level, and this time is no exception, as she shared a falafel recipe, but not based on chickpeas, but with green beans, a delicious, crunchy and very healthy dish, which makes it worthy of being part of The Best of the Week.
Moist apple muffins with cinnamon 🧁 | by @plantasticka
@plantasticka frequently turns food into poetry, and she achieves this through the beautiful photographs that she includes in her posts, since the quality of these images is the best. This time she has shared with us a recipe for apple cinnamon muffins, which she explains carefully, illustrating the entire process with beautiful photos, obtaining a wonderful result, a complete harmony of flavors, for which she is also part of The Best of the Week.
Vegan chorizo tacos with tomatillo salsa | by @carolynstahl
The recipes that @carolynstahl shares in our community have several special characteristics: Firstly, they are very good and delicious, secondly, they are accompanied by beautiful photos, thirdly, they always have an anecdote, and fourthly, they are very complete, since she is not limited to a single preparation, but presents an entire menu; and this time, she brought a recipe for Vegan chorizo tacos with tomatillo sauce, where she makes everything from tortillas to sauce, a Mexican dish that reminds her of a previous trip she made to that country. Due to the quality of her post, she also deserves to be part of the Best of the Week.
Delicious Vegan Pumpkin Chili Recipe | by @plantstoplanks
On this occasion, it has given us great pleasure to see a post made by @plantstoplanks in the community. We know that she is well aware of Veganism and makes some delicious recipes, which we can see in her Vegan Pumpkin Chili post, a very appropriate dish for this pumpkin season, which in addition to being nutritious, is very warm and delicious; reason why she is also part of The Best of the Week.
Mashed Cassava, Plant Based Food From Sumatera Utara, Indonesia | by @aswita
If something characterizes @aswita in her recipes, it is that she always surprises us with those dishes of Indonesian cuisine, which are full of flavor and tradition; and this time she has brought a recipe for Mashed Cassava, which is prepared by the Batak tribe in Indonesia, specifically in North Sumatra; a very special dish that perhaps many do not know and she has presented in a great post, so she also deserves to be part of The Best of the Week.
Below is the transfer made to each wallet, as a modest community recognition, to the extraordinary work done by these content creators
