I chose the town of Světlá nad Sázavou as my starting position, because there was a direct train from Prague and it was possible to get there on Friday afternoon after work. Upon arrival, I crossed the bridge over the Sázava River, bought food for the weekend at the local Penny market and headed to the local castle.

As I approached this captivating temple, I was immediately enchanted by its radiant blue hue, a unique sight that set it apart from any other temple I had encountered before. The beauty of the Blue Temple was a testament to the extraordinary Thai artistry that adorned its structure. It was a mesmerizing blend of tradition and innovation, showcasing the creative skill of Mr. Phutta Kapkaew, a local artist from Chiang Rai. Notably, he had been a devoted disciple of the renowned Chalermchai Kositpipat, the visionary behind the White Temple.

🥉 BEYLERBEYI PALACE | GREAT STORY AND HISTORICAL ARTS | TURKEY/ISTANBUL by @atobaba

Today we are at Beylerbeyi Palace, the history of this palace in Istanbul/Uskudar dates back to the 1800s and the interior is truly fascinating! After visiting the palace and its garden, I sat facing the sea and wondered if I would have been happy if I had been a Sultan in the 1800s and lived here :))
