🥇 Share Our World: Magnolia Tour by @sjarvie5

In January I went to Magnolia with a group of friends and we took a walking tour of the Magnolia complex. It is beautiful and inspiring and I want to share it with you. Magnolia is the creation of Chip and Joanna Gaines after their hit HGTV show Fixer Upper that started in 2013 and ran for 5 seasons. For the show, they remodel homes, mostly in the Waco, Texas.

🥈 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ”DRUM CASTLE” ~ one of Scotland’s oldest tower houses in DRUMOAK SCOTLAND 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Wednesday Walk by @littlebee4

”The original 13th-century tower of Drum Castle has been suggested as the work of medieval architect Richard Cementarius, who built the Brig o' Balgownie, the first Bridge of Don, in Old Aberdeen. It is believed to be one of the three oldest tower houses in Scotland (and notably unaltered). A large wing was added in 1619 by the 9th laird, and further alterations were made during the Victorian era.”

🥉 A Cultural Journey: The Siam Niramit Show by @baibuaza

As we journeyed through the four regions of Thailand (see my Sunday post: The Rich Traditions and Cultures of Thailand | Siam Niramit), we were struck by the unique way of life of the local communities. The simplicity and authenticity of the ancient way of life was truly a sight to behold. We learned about their customs and traditions, and were amazed by how they have managed to preserve their heritage despite the changing times.
