April 2018, after graduating from North Shore International Academy (NSIA), I decided to take some time off to unwind before relocating to another city for my chef career. So I asked my flatmate to join me on a three-day trip to Taupo - Tongariro Alpine Crossing. Why did we choose this one? How do you feel when you hear your friends talking about their journey cross volcanic alpine landscape? And the volcano is still ACTIVE? And Mount Ngauruhoe is Mount Doom in The Lord of the Rings where the ring was destroyed in the fire.Thrilling yet exciting, right?

🥈 Istria's Idyllic Artist Village build by giants, Grožnjan, Croatia by @lensational

This weekend, I spent in Grožnjan, a small charming town in Istria. Full of history and autumn colors abound. It's easy to fall in love with Istria since it has it all: stunning scenery and beaches, ancient towns perched on hilltops, outstanding wines, homemade prosciutto, high-quality olive oil, scented truffles. The medieval village of Grožnjan - the city of artists and music - is located on a magnificent hill in the center of Istria. Walk with me through the stone city walls and into an entirely different world, where the main mode of transportation is the bicycle and the official currency is the love of art.

🥉 A Secret Beautiful Beach, Bai Xoan, Vietnam by @dodovietnam

Hello everyone, how do you do today? As a nature lover and love to explore new lands, today I will take you to a secret beach in Xoan Peninsula, a rather remote area located between Da Nang and Hue. Located about 30km from Da Nang city center, Bai Xoan is a secret beach hidden behind the Xoan Peninsula. It is also the peninsula's only beach. Not only its location is far from the center, but the arduous and hard to find way to get here also makes it a very little known beach. Even for people who have been in Da Nang for many years, when I ask them where "Bai Xoan" is, they don't know.
