Escaping To The Top!

Taking in the breathtaking views is what I always loved! Perhaps I was in awe as I discovered the beauty of the mountain ridges at Talaingod, Davao Del Norte, and discovered the Talaingod View Deck.

I never thought that an unplanned trip to Davao would lead me to a mesmerizing spot as I was breathing in the fresh air in the mountains and experiencing the picturesque view of nature made my day when we were passing through the diversion road of San Fernando, Bukidnon going to Davao. And here are some of the quick shots that I have captured upon arriving at the spot.

Perhaps nestled in the magnificent place of Davao del Norte lies the Talaingod View Deck which offers a scenic escape along with the lush landscapes of Mindanao. Honestly, while passing through the road, it seemed I was captivated by the mesmerizing view and I was so eager to stop until we found the view deck which was a perfect spot to take snapshots and many selfies.

I was so excited to take many shots and I had a lot of selfies while I was at the view deck while wearing my black dress. I felt like the view was a beautiful backdrop and it seemed a painted spot surrounding me. And here are some of my shots and selfies with the beautiful Talaingod view.

My journey to Talaingod View Deck was truly an adventure. The winding roads that lead to elevated heights along with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys were all worth it even if I was thinking of possible hazards since we were passing at the center of huge landscapes. And I was so delighted while feeling that I am on the top.

Although the road was cemented, I have seen roads that were able to be covered by rocks and fragments due to landslides. Good thing the weather last weekend was so fine when we passed by the diversion road. I even had a lot of what-ifs since the place was full of virgin forests and only minimal residents dwelling alongside. There was no signal for both mobile and internet connection, so it was truly a great place to be offline for a while.

Perhaps the trip to the diversion road may not be an easy ride because the road is so winding and the place is so risky against landslides, but I must say that it was a fun adventure. And that, the cool breeze and the evergreen surroundings made my travel full of fun and an unforgettable experience.

When I reached the view deck, I captured many quick shots and it was a mesmerizing sight not to mention that the vast area of greenery stretching as far as I could see had provided a never-obstructed scenery and an amazing view of the Davao del Norte landscapes. And it was a moment of silence as I was able to witness once more the wild heart of nature.

I so love the tranquility of Talaingod View Deck. And yes, it is a perfect place for meditation and relaxation. It is the best place to be offline for a while since there is no internet signal or mobile connection. I enjoyed taking many snapshots and videos while I was there.

I stayed here for a while before traveling to Davao as I was captivated by the ambiance of the place. If you want to have a deeper connection with nature, the Talaingod View Deck is a must-visit.

To get here, you must pass by the diversion road of San Fernando, Bukidnon going to Davao. There are many advantages of passing this road aside from seeing the breathtaking views but as well as saving time going to Davao. If we pass by the National Highway, it will take more or less 8 hours to reach Davao, but by passing this road, we have saved 2 hours and attained our destination in Davao del Norte for only six hours.

Perhaps Talaingod View Deck is not just a travel destination but I must say that it is a wild escape to the top with the wild heart of nature. What a beautiful retreat to the soul as I see the vibrant greenery. And yes, it is a hidden gem of Davao del Norte that invites everyone to unwind, relax, and reconnect with the wild heart of nature.

Ah! I was even mesmerized to see a vast area of untouched forest along with the beautiful sky and the spectacular plates that added elegance and beauty to the place. I was relaxed for a while and it was like a quiet retreat to Talaingod View Deck as it offers a great solace for the soul while feeling that I was escaping to the top.
