🖌 INKTOBER 2022 - DAY 13 - SUNFLOWER [ESP-ENG]

Hola a todos espero que se encuentren bien! La palabra de hoy es Girasol.

Una flor hermosa y colorida, como siempre busque varias referencias para hacer el boceto, trate que fuesen líneas sueltas y tener una noción del espacio que ocuparía. Por lo general suelo hacer el lineart negro y luego aplico el color.

Hello everyone, I hope you are feeling well! Today's word is Sunflower.

A beautiful and colorful flower, as always I looked for several references to make the sketch, I tried to make it loose lines and have a notion of the space it would occupy. I usually do the black lineart and then I apply the color.

En esta oportunidad usé lo mismos mascadores como base de los tonos que iba a utilizar, poco a poco fui oscureciendo y procurando aplicar la textura a los pétalos (Amarillo pastel, amarillo canario, ocre, naranja y un poco de marrón) y las hojas (verde claro, medio y oscuro); poco a poco voy agregando capas, trato que tengan uniformidad y en lo posible ir difuminando.

In this opportunity I used the same mastic as a base for the tones I was going to use, little by little I was darkening and trying to apply the texture to the petals (pastel yellow, canary yellow, ocher, orange and a little brown) and the leaves (light, medium and dark green); little by little I am adding layers, I try to have uniformity and as much as possible to be blurring.

Para el centro de la flor decidí realizar un puntillismo de tres marrón claro, medio y negro para crear volumen, en esta parte requiere paciencia para llenar toda el área, con sinceridad me gusto mucho el resultado. ¿Qué opinan ustedes?

Para finalizar le agregue acrílico blanco a los pétalos y las hojas para resaltar los puntos de luz en la flor. El fondo del lo hice con acuarelas e intenté agregar los destellos del sol.

For the center of the flower I decided to make a stippling of three light brown, medium and black to create volume, this part requires patience to fill the entire area, honestly I really like the result. What do you think?

To finish I added white acrylic to the petals and leaves to highlight the points of light on the flower. I did the background with watercolors and tried to add the sun sparkles.
