The Founding Anniversary Of The Town

Every place celebrating a founding anniversary on which many activities are helding in. Once again, me and my Friends decided to cover up more photos of the Founding anniversary somewhere in Misamis Oriental. We are very happy that we covered up another events in the Province and to that, we are very excited. This is the first time I went in Manticao, Misamis Oriental and as I observed the place, it contains a historical phenomenon behind the place. When we arrived at the site, the tour guider told us a short historical stories about the place, and according to them, this place was once a vast of forest were many native people lives. But as the many years has passed, the place was already develop and turn into a crowded place and establishments.

The structure was made of wood just like Tugas tree, this is one of the hardest tree found in Manticao. As we arrived we are standing near at their supermarket because the Parade has already begun. Many people were joining the parade, including the students of different schools.

This is the students of Saint Anthony Parish School band. Every town activities, they are the one who lead the parade for the sound and band followed by this band majorettes. Everybody do their best to perform their task very well. The passed goers was also stopped to watched the parade and they are very happy and enjoyed watching it. It was a hot sunny day when they do the parade celebration and many Government sector are already join and followed the Parade.

One of the sectors who joined the parade are this Police personels and the Fire personels. They brought their vehicle mobile and sounding the alarm in the place. This is very traditional here in the Province, to show the deep support and love of the town. This Personels helps a lot to all residents here in Manticao, to protect them from any danger and to stop the waves of fire burning the houses. They have a great contributions and to serve well the town.

Each schools in the town should joined the Parade also and the Local Government of Manticao decided to to request to all schools principals and supervisor to participate the activities and gladly they all aggreed. This are the students of Mindanao Mission Academy, they wore green color of sash with a yellow handkerchief tying near at thier neck. Their school uniform is color Green [slacks] and white [tshirt].

This are the students of Saint Anthony Parish school and they wore Black slacks and white Polo for the boys and Dress checkered for the girls with white polo also. Because of their proper uniform of the said students of different schools, they are very organized.

This are the Health sector, and they based in Manticao, Provincial Hospital. They also participated and seems they are very happy and enjoyable. They also contributes a big help to all Manticaonon's specially for their health and medical attentions.

There are many teenagers who joined the parade also. This group of teens wearing orange tshirt do their presentations after the Parade. It is very proud that there are teens who loves the town as we say, a kind of Patriotism.

The town of Manticao consists of 14 Barangays, each Barangay officials are obliged to joined the parade also and gladly they are all present at the Parade. The Municipal Mayor was very thankful to all Barangay officials for joining the said Parade.

The last but not the least, this group of Horsemen. We are so amazed of this group of horsemen and for me, I think it is not really easy to ride a horse. The parts of the founding anniversary is the horse activities that is why they also includes to the Parade. We are very amazed of the activities in Manticao, and we can see that the residents of the said place loves their town, the place were they born.
