The Boat Sailing Activities in Initao Misamis Oriental

Most of the place here in the Province of Misamis Oriental are near at the coastal areas. It is also already expected that most of the residents here are fishermen and this is one of their primary source of income. I really live traveling around and this time, my next destination will be at the Coastal areas of the Municipality of Initao, Misamis Oriental. This place is also near at the coastal areas and most of the people who lived here are fishermen.

Exactly 8 AM when I started to travel riding in a Public Utility vehicle and I really have a good time watching those places I passing by during my travel. When I reached the place, I noticed this people who are very busy checking their boats if it is still okay.

Children are having a lot of fun sailing those small boats to the sea water. Some of them are bringing camera and cellphones to the small boats to take pictures. The coastal areas of Municipality of Initao contains many big and small stones in the place. There are lots of sea shells, crabs and other marine creatures hid under the big stones every high tide. Each boats have different colors and styles, some of it are having a bamboo pool with a comfortable chairs inside of the boats.

The place was also consists of many stones walls and it addens the beauty of the place. Not all of the shore have white sands and peebles, there are some of the parts of the place have many big stones and it is very sharp and dangerous. There are also many sea water plants just like mangrove trees grows in the big stone. There are also many coconut trees grows in the shoreline and the small boats was starting to sail to sea. Everybody are having a wonderful time spending their wonderful days riding on a small boats.

It was very lucky for me during my travel adventure because the weather was good and the sea was very calm. The boats were design into a unique arts and includes some name that wrote on the stern. Each residents here owned a small boats use for fishing activities. I am very amazed of the place I went including their way of living. According to the leader in this place, they also conducted a small boats competition. They put many types of decor that can make everyone more impressed.

I was noticing this unique boat sailing to the sea and it was adorned with many colorful flaglettes. The design is very unique and colorful, many people wants to ride in this boats. Other people called this kind of decorations, Vinta. Vinta is very popular here in Mindanao, in fact this is already recorded as one of the most unique boats and decorations in the country.

It was my most wonderful time of my travel blog. Well, I am not fun riding with small boats and it makes me dizzy except of the motorboats that also sailing to the sea. I really love to be back here next time and I will proud to share this wonderful moments I have here in the Municipality of Initao, Misamis Oriental, Philippines.
