Making More Cards

Hello friends! I spent the evening making a bunch more cards to send to seniors the other day. It is part of my strategy to fight off The Big Sad. Doing things for others beats back depression a bit. At least while I'm working.

Yesterday I wrote out six of them to send. There are 20 in total that I made.

As you can see I was using letter stickers, and some of them don't stick very well (yes those ones I bought at the dollar store, sigh!), so I had to add glue or tape to get them to stay. I kept finding dropped stickers all over the carpet after I was done.

The foam pieces were originally supposed to stick like stickers too, but they didn't and also needed glue. I think that's more of an age thing though, since I've had them for so many years and I remember them being sticky before.

The inside of the "now hiring" one says "inquire within," but I forgot to photograph it. It's a shortened version of something I chalked on the sidewalk a few months ago.

So that was my work for that night. Hopefully they being some cheer to others, as it cheers me to work on them. :) Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!
