It's been a while since I last posted the first chapter of The Forest series. Today it's time to bring you the second chapter, where @oldfool finally joins our adventure. So far the series is not finished, in fact, that's unfinished since we haven't played The Forest for a long time. Still I promise to bring you the whole series until the game is finished.

@oldfool didn't know anything about the game, but he always learns fast. Just as it happens to all of us in the beginning, he broke some things unintentionally when trying to interact with them, though he gradually adapted. At first I stuck with him as I tried to explain some things to him and @brataka was looking to get a bit further into the game.

The night was quite complicated, as it seems that the more players there are in a game, the more complicated it is to survive because the difficulty increases. While trying not to starve and freeze to death at night, we tried to be aware of the darkness, as we could be attacked from any side as we were unprotected in the forest. I talked about it with @oldfool, and it is that in this game the night compared to the day is much more realistic and immersive, it is very scary to be in the forest knowing that anything can happen to you. Already when it becomes daytime the whole atmosphere changes, plus the game with certain graphical options has a rather exaggerated lighting.

In the first chapter our goal was to find a safe place, and we were finally able to find it. Let's say that if you want to make things a little simpler, the place where we settled down is the right one. Our place was all along the coast, so enemies could only attack us coming down from the mountains, obviously we wouldn't leave everything unprotected and set up a fortress.

Besides being a strategically excellent location, it also provides plenty of food because of the sea turtles and the yacht containing drinks and food, this always resets at the start of the game and you can get your hands on some good loot. I started by making a dock so we wouldn't have to swim from the shore to the yacht, but decided to wait to build a raft so we could move much faster.

As we were getting wood to advance our fortress, nightfall approaches and we realize that @oldfool is nowhere near us. He tells us that he is in a horrible place with rituals, as he had wandered into a cave. The caves in The Forest can be very dangerous and confusing if you don't pay attention to where you came from, and obviously he didn't do that. When we went to look for him at night we got lost, but in the end we all ended up inside the same cave and were reunited. The bad thing is that now all 3 of us were in the cave without knowing where the exit was.

We took advantage of getting all the valuable resources that were lying around in the cave and after a while we found the exit of the cave. When we got out of the cave it was already daylight, so we were glad for that, although it was still dangerous because of the amount of cannibals waiting for us outside. We were running for a while and getting out of confrontation after confrontation, until we were drifting, quite far from the coast, you could see a pretty nice mountain covered with snow, that's how far away we were. We decided to stop and come back the next day to continue exploring the caves and advance our fortress.

I hope you enjoy my post and if you watched some of the gameplay, don't forget to leave a comment about what you liked or didn't like the most. Next week I will bring you the third chapter of this series where we advance a lot. Remember that we are looking for a survival experience and we don't want to rush through the game in one day. See you soon my boomers.

Just dying and reviving, it was a tremendous night. The boy found a katana and we were punching the shit out of 20 enemies. -olfu being alone for 10 seconds, the olfu: I'm lost, uwu.

Yes, it's a good multiplayer game, a bit old, but sometimes old is better. Thanks for reading and thanks for your wishes.

At that time we had no map at hand, it was very easy to get lost. Even when we got the map, sometimes we forgot to use it and spent the whole night hiding in the forest. That's the best way to play a game, all in good time, no rush. Thanks for commenting.

This game is a mix if emotions as you try to survive your whole life. I think the funny part is due to the fact that you are playing with people you know, I don't know if outside the Hive community, but it would be the same I guess.

This game reminds me of Rust, that supposed copy of Day Z without the abuse of old players monopolizing the loot and survival creations, it seems to me something pleasant and even a little scary as you presented the part where the night comes, I hope to follow more publications of this game. Greetings friend.

Exactly, I think the most fun is playing with people you know. I'm not sure if it will be the same experience with randoms, but it would be nice to try it. I also think it's a bit like Rust, but it's much calmer, Rust is complete chaos. Thanks for commenting and sorry for the delay. Greetings man.
