Greetings friends, how are you guys doing today, hope today is perfectly fine and you all are having fun.
Today happens to be a great day for here in my home despite the fact that I'm not in a good mood, someone just came and change my mood and things just goes like temptation, well, nevertheless i still have to find something just to calm myself and be happy again so i decided to login here and share with you all on how i cut and sew this simple and beautiful elastic free gown for my little baby girl.

I realized that sewing is one of the best skill in this life and there are things that people need to understand in sewing work, i was in the process of learning on gow to cut and sew, during that period i took in and i couldn't strong enough to be stress everyday by day and there was no machine at home, it was so boring to me, so after putting to birth i discovered that staying like that wasn't helps me in any aspect of sewing, when i started sewing again ot was as if i didn't i didn't know anything, like i forgot many things then i start learning from the YouTube and it helps me recalled my memory back, things in sewing work is that as I'm sewing everyday so i have more knowledge, but one of my neighbor told me to my face that sewing work is just a west time work i asked her why she said that she said she can't sit down one place not to talk of sitting and sew from morning till night and that sewing work is not an easy work, i was like 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 laughing, i try to understand what she's driving at, so what I'm trying to say is that this work is not that easy but is very easy for those that determine to do it.

I remember this style that my mum sewn for me when i was ten, so i come to thing of it that if i sew it for my little baby it will be so beautiful and fit, i wanted to see if it will take me 1 hour to finish it but with greatest surprised i spent only 40 minutes and my baby disturbances comes in too, i have this fabric that my Mum bought long time ago said i should sew for my baby so i brought it out, since it will be sleeveless, and i have this remaining elastic thread i decided to sew elastic only on the half length which is under her burst.
I folded it by two, i measured out her burst neeple to neeple and then i off 3 inches for the off shoulder to her normal length, measured out her ham hold length then i cut it out.

After cutting out the front i folded the fabric by two again, i placed the front on it then i cut the back part exactly the front measurements.

You all can see how the design of the fabric looks different but that how it is, after cutting out i start sewing the elastic on it, then i done sewing one side.

I then sew the elastic on the other side.

After I'm done sewing the elastic on the two sides i now join the two side together.

Then i cut out the 3 inches which i minus out from the shoulder that i off, i cut 3 inches length and 5 inches width, then i sew turned them round and i stitch them on the shoulder neckline.

Wow....here is the final look of the outcome.

She was so beautiful on my Sister's marrage. introduction at my village yesterday.
