We arrived at day 903 of this count that I started a long time ago, more than two years separate me from that Friday in March when #Quarantine was declared in #Venezuela as a government response to the #COVID-19 #pandemic, a disease that seems to have come to stay, because more than a pandemic, it already seems endemic, in short, that it is seen as a disease that will be a daily thing and that we will have to accept living with it for an indeterminate time, since a vaccine has not been developed that is totally effective, and we do not have a specific drug that is fully functional. Well, there are drugs and treatments, but what I mean is that we don't have something specially designed to deal with this disease and its effectiveness exceeds the mark enough to gain the trust of ordinary people and bring about a new calm, one that allows reactive fully the economy, tourism, trade and everything else.
It's almost dawn this Friday, I've been on the computer all night and now that I'm going at this time of the morning, it occurs to me that it's better that I take the opportunity to record the day instead of leaving it for when I wake up, later Of all one does not know if the electrical service or the Internet signal by cell phone or by BAM will be working at that moment. Here you have to do things at once when you can, because the truth is that uncertainty is constant and is a perennial reminder that procrastination can lead you to not being able to do anything you wanted to do.

Well, today's registration led me to review what we had in the #History ephemeris and I found something striking, you know? Yesterday was an anniversary of the start of World War II, with the invasion of Poland (1939), but today is the anniversary date of the official end of the same war (1945). The capitulation of #Japan after the #Atomic Bomb attacks was something I consider inevitable, in fact, I remember the historical gossip that there was a third #Atomic #Bomb that was being prepared to be dropped on Japan, and it was only left unused because they surrendered before they finished putting it together.
I like wars to end, but I'd like them to never start much more, but I know that's utopian thinking and contradicts the human nature I know.
Greed, avarice, jealousy, envy, inferiority or superiority complexes, discrimination, resentment, fear, resentment, hatred... are things that I know my species has deeply rooted, almost written in its genetic chain, I would like to think that at some point an evolution will be achieved, and my dear humanity will be able to be something beyond the human that I know today, I suppose I am digressing a bit with the idea of Friedrich Nietzsche's Übermensch, not in the sense of the superior race Superman that the Nazis proposed as a manipulation of his philosophical work, but as an ideal that what we know today is only a root of a tomorrow that can be better, that is a promise of the future that does not come given free, it needs to be worked on to be possible, but it is certainly a promise of possible fulfillment.
When the Great War, which we know as the First World War, ended, it was thought that it had been so horrible that humanity would never trigger something like this again... But, no more than a few decades passed, and a new large-scale conflict broke out, the bloody #SecondWorldWar that at the end left too many wounds and profound changes to the entire known world. That reminds me that since then, the great powers have avoided large-scale conflicts, during the Cold War it was a game of manipulation using small nations to test the environment and unleash minor wars, now in the 21st century, we have had several wars, as bloody as they can be, but it scares me that we have a scenario similar to the beginning of the last century in terms of a context of economic crisis, a flu pandemic and a new war between several countries... I know that history it doesn't repeat itself, but there are times when events seem too similar and a bit scary.

Arribamos al día 903 de este conteo que inicié ya hace mucho, más de dos años me separan de aquel viernes de marzo en que se declaró la #Cuarentena en #Venezuela como respuesta del gobierno ante la #pandemia de #Covid19, enfermedad que parece haber venido para quedarse, pues más que pandemia, ya parece una endemia, en fin, que se ve como una enfermedad que será cosa cotidiana y que tendremos que aceptar vivir con ella durante un tiempo indeterminado, pues no se ha desarrollado una vacuna que sea totalmente efectiva y tampoco tenemos un medicamento específico del todo funcional. Bueno, hay medicamentos y tratamientos, pero me refiero a que no tenemos algo especialmente diseñado para enfrentar esta enfermedad y que su efectividad supere la marca en grado suficiente como para ganarse la confianza de la gente común y propiciar una nueva calma, una que permita reactivas plenamente la economía, el turismo, el comercio y todo lo demás.
Estoy casi por amanecer este día viernes, he estado en la computadora toda la noche y ahora que voy a estas horas de la madrugada, se me ocurre que es mejor que aproveche para hacer el registro del día en lugar de dejarlo para cuando despierte, después de todo uno no sabe si el servicio eléctrico o la señal de Internet por celular o por BAM estará funcionando en ese momento. Acá hay que hacer las cosas de una vez cuando se puede, pues de verdad que la incertidumbre es constante y es un recordatorio perenne de que procrastinar puede llevarte a no lograr hacer nada de lo que querías hacer.
Para cuando despierte, tengo planeado ir a comprar algunos víveres adicionales para la casa :)
Bueno, el registro de hoy me llevó a revisar que teníamos en las efemérides de la #Historia y me encontré con algo llamativo, ¿sabes? Ayer fue un aniversario del inicio de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, con la invasión a Polonia (1939), pero hoy es la fecha aniversario del final oficial de la misma guerra (1945). La capitulación de #Japon luego de los ataques de las #BombasAtomicas fue una cosa que considero inevitable, de hecho, recuerdo el chisme histórico de que había una tercera #Bomba #Atomica que estaba siendo preparada para arrojarla sobre Japón y solamente quedó sin uso porque se rindieron antes de que terminaran de armarla.
Me gusta que las guerras terminen, pero me gustaría mucho más que nunca comenzaran, pero sé que eso es un pensamiento utópico y contradice la naturaleza humana que conozco.
La codicia, la avaricia, los celos, la envidia, los complejos de inferioridad o de superioridad, la discriminación, el rencor, el miedo, el rencor, el odio... son cosas que sé que mi especie tiene profundamente enraizado, casi que escrito en su cadena genética, me gustaría pensar que en algún momento se logre una evolución y mi querida humanidad lograra ser algo más allá de lo humano que conozco en la actualidad, supongo que estoy divagando un poco con la idea del Übermensch de Friedrich Nietzsche, no en el sentido del Superhombre de raza superior que los nazis propusieron como manipulación de su obra filosófica, sino como ideal de que lo que conocemos hoy es solo una raíz de un mañana que puede ser mejor, eso es una promesa de futuro que no viene dada gratis, necesita ser trabajada para ser posible, pero es desde luego una promesa de posible cumplimiento.
Cuando terminó la Gran Guerra, que conocemos como la Primera Guerra Mundial, se pensó que había sido tan horrible que la humanidad no desencadenaría algo así nunca más... Pero, no pasaron más que unas décadas y estalló un nuevo conflicto a gran escala, la sangrienta #SegundaGuerraMundial que al terminar dejó demasiadas heridas y cambios muy profundos a todo el mundo conocido. Eso me hace recordar que desde entonces, las grandes potencias han evitado conflictos a gran escala, durante la Guerra Fría fue un juego de manipulación usando pequeñas naciones para probar el ambiente y desatar guerras menores, ahora en el Siglo XXI, hemos tenido varias guerras, tan sangrientas como se pueden tener, pero me asusta que tengamos un escenario parecido al inicio del Siglo pasado en cuanto a un contexto de crisis económica, una pandemia de gripe y que se dé una nueva guerra entre varios países... Sé que la Historia no se repite, pero hay momentos en que los eventos se parecen demasiado y dan un poco de miedo.
Ya estoy demasiado tétrico, dejemos esto hasta acá :) Te deseo que tú estés bien y que nos podamos leer de nuevo en otra oportunidad.

Tantos intereses de por medio, tanto querer la razón porque mi religión es mejor que la tuya, tanta sobre población que no sabemos donde los vamos a alojar... De verdad hay veces provoca estar en la ignorancia de muchas cosas. Saludos
Alguna vez escuché de un viejo colega: "No sé si la ignorancia da felicidad, pero en ocasiones se le parece"
Soy de los que prefieren saber, a pesar de que lo que llegue a averiguar no me agrade.
En cuanto al conflicto y la lucha por intereses... es algo demasiado frecuente en lo que he podido saber de la historia de nuestra especie, triste, pero es así. Lo de las luchas religiosas me hace pensar que es simplemente una escusa más que usamos los humanos para discriminar a los demás y tener una "razón" para hacerles mal o matarnos entre todos, de verdad que mantengo un saludable respeto por la gente que tiene fe, porque son capaces de cualquier cosa (por loca que me parezca) para satisfacer su fe, ya sea detonarse con un chaleco-bomba en un templo (puede ser mezquita, sinagoga, iglesia, etc.) o secuestrar un avión y estrellarlo en edificaciones o apresar gente de otras creencias para decapitarlos en pleno Siglo XXI.
