Desire

Hello everyone, Welcome to my blog.
Whenever we desire something, we work towards getting it, no matter where it takes us. even if it will take longer time than we expected we would still achieve that thing which we desire, just like a friend of mine, he once told me that he wanted to own a car before he reaches some certain age, well it is a good thing, though I said to him that desiring to own a car now can is not advisable since cars are liability, they will just consume money from you that why doesn't he have the desire to own a house first, live comfortably before he thinks of owning a car, what he told was that is what he wants he will get, and he really worked towards it because, on his last birthday, he said to me that does things he talked to me about that he has gotten it, I was happy for him he was able to get what he desires for even if it didn't come immediately, he worked immensely for it.

This also reminds me of when I didn't have a phone, and I wanted to get one for myself, I was determined to get a new phone and it was an iphone I wanted to get, so I put my mind on it that I would get it no matter how long it will take, it was then I started working in a school as a teacher and the pay then was eight thousand naira, and iphone 6 at that time was around forty thousand naira, still yet I was still determined to work to get what I want, I worked eight months but still the money wasn't enough to get an iphone 6 then, and at that point, I wanted to write an exam so I had to stop working so I can focus on my exam, it was after my exams I went in search of another job so I can get that thing which I desire, luckily for me I was able to get one and the pay was twenty thousand naira, well that a good start for me to be able to save up and get my desired phone then.

After working for two months, I added the money I had saved from my last job to the one I had worked at in the new place, and I was able to get the iPhone 6 I had always wanted, and it made me really happy, not only because I had the desire to get it but also because I was able to get it with my hard-earned money.

Though I could not use the phone for long because issues came up and I had to sell it, the fact that I got what I desired and was able to get it myself always makes me happy.
