RE: Tales of the Urban Explorer: Pendleton Bowling Club

That's a crazy place you found there, very rich in organic narrative for a derelict building. History always has a story. Bowling dull? You mad bro?

I always have mixed emotions with these abandoned buildings. There would have been a lot of life here at one point, yes even for a bowling club. It's kind of sad to see how it's ended up, not just a wasteland but a waste. It needs some cleaning up but perhaps someone could make a go of it.

Imagine all of the conversations and drunken riotous antics those bowlers got up to in there. I wonder if strippers frequented the place? Some old people can be right dirty bastards you know.

I admire your tenacity to access the building and thoroughly explore it. I don't think it's that underwhelming actually. A nice find and certainly makes for an interesting read.

Old people.., you said it..., that's my association with this 'sport', if you can call it that. Strippers.., it depends on how many of the members are blokes I guess.

I am from the North-West so it wouldn't be much interest to me. I am on 28dayslater, the UX site for pompous arseholes and Derelict Places.., a little better but they are both in decline.
