Today I share with you a passage of sacred scriptures that urges us to put on armor for war, of course it is not real armor since our fight is not against flesh and blood, but rather against principalities and powers of darkness.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having finished all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girded with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and shod your feet with the readiness of the gospel of peace. Above all, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying at all times with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching therein with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;

Ephesians 6:13-18

The Apostle Paul uses the metaphor of armor to illustrate the importance of spiritually preparing to resist adversity and temptations. In short, he urges believers to equip themselves with the “armor of God” so they can endure and remain steadfast in their faith during difficult times. The armor includes elements such as truth, justice, peace, faith, salvation and the Word of God. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of constant prayer and intercession for other believers.

Hoy les comparto un pasaje de las sagradas escrituras que nos insta a ponernos una armadura para la guerra, por supuesto que no es una armadura real ya que nuestra lucha no es contra sangre ni carne, sino que es contra principados y potestades de las tinieblas.

Por tanto, tomad toda la armadura de Dios, para que podáis resistir en el día malo, y habiendo acabado todo, estar firmes. Estad, pues, firmes, ceñidos vuestros lomos con la verdad, y vestidos con la coraza de justicia, y calzados los pies con el apresto del evangelio de la paz. Sobre todo, tomad el escudo de la fe, con que podáis apagar todos los dardos de fuego del maligno. Y tomad el yelmo de la salvación, y la espada del Espíritu, que es la palabra de Dios; orando en todo tiempo con toda oración y súplica en el Espíritu, y velando en ello con toda perseverancia y súplica por todos los santos;

Efesios 6:13-18

El Apóstol Pablo utiliza la metáfora de la armadura para ilustrar la importancia de prepararse espiritualmente para resistir las adversidades y tentaciones. En resumen, insta a los creyentes a equiparse con la "armadura de Dios" para poder resistir y permanecer firmes en su fe durante los tiempos difíciles. La armadura incluye elementos como la verdad, la justicia, la paz, la fe, la salvación y la Palabra de Dios. Además, enfatiza la importancia de la oración constante y la intercesión por otros creyentes.
