Greetings, beautiful people of hive, I hope you are very well and that you are having a happy holiday season. Today I'm back with a tutorial to learn how to make a beautiful Onigiri purse 🍙 I hope you like it very much.
Without further ado, let's get started.

Materiales | Materials:

Tela blanca/negra/estampada	Tijeras	Cremallera
Aguja e hilos	Hoja de papel	Lápiz

White, black and printed fabric	Scissors	Zipper
Needle and threads	Sheet of paper	Pencil

🍙Proceso | Process🍙

Paso 1 | Step 1

Lo primero que haremos será dibujar nuestro onigiri en una hoja de papel y luego cortarlo para obtener un patrón.

The first thing we will do is to draw our onigiri on a sheet of paper and then cut it to obtain a pattern.

Paso 2 | Step 2

Ubicaremos el patrón sobre la tela blanca y marcaremos dos veces su contorno. Luego cortaremos dejando un pequeño margen.

Place the pattern on the white fabric and mark the outline twice. Then we will cut leaving a small margin.

Repetiremos este proceso con la tela que usaremos de forro.

We will repeat this process with the fabric that we will use as lining.

Paso 3 | Step 3

Cortaremos un pequeño rectángulo de tela negra y la coseremos a una de las piezas blancas.

We will cut a small rectangle of black fabric and sew it to one of the white pieces.

Con un lápiz dibujaremos una carita kawaii y luego la bordaremos.

With a pencil we will draw a kawaii face and then we will embroider it.

Paso 4 | Step 4

Pondremos la cremallera boca abajo sobre la pieza con la carita y encima pondremos la pieza de forro, formando así una especie de sandwich. Luego, lo cosemos.

We will put the zipper face down on the piece with the face and on top we will put the lining piece, thus forming a kind of sandwich. Then, we sew it.

Nuevamente formaremos nuestro sandwich, pero esta vez empezaremos por la tela de forro. Encima le pondremos la cremallera boca arriba y por último, pondremos la otra pieza blanca y coseremos.

Again we will form our sandwich, but this time we will start with the lining fabric. On top we will put the zipper face up and finally, we will put the other white piece and sew.

☆TIP☆

Si tu cremallera es muy larga, puedes hacerle unas puntadas envolventes en los dientes y quitar la pieza de abajo con ayuda de unas tijeras. Luego, abres y cortas el sobrante.

If your zipper is too long, you can make a few stitches around the teeth and remove the bottom piece with scissors. Then, open and cut off the excess.

Y así debe verse.

And so it should be seen.

Paso 5 | Step 5

Ahora, uniremos las dos piezas blancas y las dos del forro y coseremos alrededor, dejando un espacio para darle la vuelta. Por último, cerramos la abertura y listo.

Now, we will join the two white pieces and the two lining pieces and sew around them, leaving a space to turn it over. Finally, we close the opening and it's ready.
