Paso 1 | Step 1

Lo primero que haremos será marcar dos veces nuestro patrón sobre el cartón y luego cortaremos.

The first thing we will do is to mark our pattern twice on the cardboard and then cut it out.

Paso 2 | Step 2

Trazaremos y cortaremos 2 tiras de cartón (ambas deben tener las mismas medidas). Tomaremos una de ellas y la cortaremos por la mitad a lo largo.

We will trace and cut 2 strips of cardboard (both should have the same measurements). We will take one of them and cut it in half lengthwise.

En total, nos deben quedar 5 piezas.

In total, we should have 5 pieces left.

Paso 3 | Step 3

Las tiras más delgadas las pegaremos en todo el contorno de nuestras piezas de corazón, empezando por el centro (como se muestra en las fotos). Al final se verán como una especie de tapa.

We will glue the thinner strips all around the contour of our heart pieces, starting from the center (as shown in the pictures). At the end they will look like a kind of lid.

La otra tira la pegaremos dentro de uno de los corazones, cortaremos el exceso y dejaremos el centro sin pegar para formar una pequeña abertura.

The other strip we will be glued inside one of the hearts, cut off the excess and leave the center unglued to form a small opening.

Paso 4 | Step 4

Cortaremos un trozo de hilo y ataremos un nudo, lo pasaremos por la abertura y fijaremos todo con pega.

Y listo.

We will cut a piece of thread and tie a knot, pass it through the opening and fix everything with glue.
And that's it.

Paso 5 (opcional) | Step 5 (optional)

Este paso no es realmente necesario,pero, si quieres, puedes pintar el fondo de la cajita.

This step is not really necessary, but, if you want, you can paint the bottom of the box.

Paso 6 | Step 6

Con el pliego de papel crepé, cortaremos varias tiras del mismo grosor y le haremos pequeños cortes.

With the crepe paper sheet, we will cut several strips of the same thickness and make small cuts.

Paso 7 | Step 7

Empezaremos a pegar el papel por los bordes, de abajo hacia arriba y una vez terminemos, cortaremos el sobrante.

We will start gluing the paper from the edges, from the bottom to the top, and once we finish, we will cut the excess.

Rellenaremos el corazón de la misma forma, de abajo hacia arriba y cortando el sobrante.

We will fill the heart in the same way, from the bottom up and cutting off the excess.

Paso 8 | Step 8

Cortaremos algunas letras con papel crepé o seda y las pegaremos a la tapa de nuestra caja/piñata. Puedes formar la palabra o frase que quieras como: "miss u", "kiss me" o "BAE".

We will cut some letters with crepe or silk paper and glue them to the lid of our box/pinata. You can form any word or phrase you want like: "miss u", "kiss me" or "BAE".
