My succulents gathered for planting.

I have had them for a long time and they traveled with us wherever we moved.

What I love about these plants is that they are self sufficient and almost maintenance free. Give them space in the correct setting and they will grow and grow and grow. The dragonflies like to sit on them during their hunt for prey and each of them are beautiful in their own way. Whenever Marian or me see a beauty at a nursery, we buy it.
So come and look at this sample of my loves.

This one is my favorite, although I have a wide variety of succulents and cactuses. I think it is called an "Afterglow"

It can even change color to a light pink depending on the sunlight.

This one is what I call the pink lady as it stays a constant shade of pink.

It has a lovely green cabbage like base and I know that one of my friends can give us the proper names of everything in here. @ewkaw ?

We found this one here when we moved in and the local gardener told me that this is the first time that it flowered after many years, since it was planted.

A lovely big cactus like plant.

We will receive two loads of river rocks tomorrow and at last I can line the rock gardens to create foot paths in the garden. Once this is done, I will prepare the beds with a special top soil mixed for succulents and then we will start to plant all of my babies. They are growing tired of the pots and I want to give them freedom.
So upwards and onwards we go.

I hope that you have enjoyed the photos and my story.

And That's All Friends.

Succulents, when grouped together, make for a nice, soothing garden. Love your grouping of succulents. That first shot is a real winner.. I like the purple and pink flowers/stems/leaves .. Beautiful!

Totally agreed and I like to see their strength as they just keep on growing and in the dry times they are tough as nails. That first shot was also my favorite.

Congratulations @papilloncharity, you have a good hand with plants, especially the succulents. They are all beautiful, but the ones I like the most are the pink ones.
