An emergency in the garden.

Some urgent trouble early this morning to take care of.

The dove sent the squirrel to call me; Hey Zac we need you outside please. Come quickly.

Like I said before, our days are never the same and everyday brings with it its own new challenges.
I was talking to a friend here on the PC this morning when the squirrel came to call me. At first I thought he was just being a nuisance and wanting to get nuts, but it was more serious.
As you will see below.

So I gave him a nut and went outside, and he was waiting for me. Look what was lying there.

A dead mouse. And I checked, he was deader than dead.

So you can see that I had an audience here, waiting to see what I would do.

And the audience was impatient and expectant, so I removed the mouse.

This is the thank you I got, as this bugger was taking a leak in the birdbath.

Now it is off to work and I have to scramble to find a new PC screen, as I am using my wife's now to post. My own screen bombed out last night.
The amazing thing is that we make our plans for tomorrows but we should always allow for unexpected events as life can certainly play many tricks on us.

It is said that why worry about tomorrow, as tomorrow will come with its own problems and it will take care of itself. And this is so true.
Many a time have our plans been wrecked that we made for our tomorrows, so I have learnt the value of rather concentrating in full on the present instead of the morrow.

Animals never cease to amaze me, that little squirrel looks so intelligent, not cool though to take a leak in the bird bath Lol!. I've also been learning to live for today, don't worry about tomorrow, it will take care of itself, I need a new computer just waiting for mine to die on me. Thank you for sharing another interesting post. Wish you and your family blessings for 2022.

I cannot find incontinent nappies for the squirrels !LOLZ
Yes, life has many tricks in stock tat we will never beat it methinks.
I said somewhere else that to live each day as if it's your last day is so important, as we never know if we will open our eyes the next morning. So kindness to all is on top of our list.
Discovered today that my PC is a 2005-2010 model and as I fitted the new used screen, the seller had to upgrade the software for the screen on my PC. It will have to last me another 10 years at least.
But of course it can crash tomorrow hahaha.

That first photo is classic! I'm sure if you looked closer (under the leaves and behind the flowers) there is probably a whole host of little creatures wanting your help.

Hahaha, thank you and yes we do at times look closer and I know that there are many other creatures in the bushes, but some of them are engaged in private issues that doesn't need our help !LOLZ
Maybe I should do a post about it.

Oh, someone must have put the mouse there, or she came to ask for help, but it was too late - poor little mouse.
But it's cool that the squirrel came to you to tell you there's something to do for you 😀

Never forget about the tomorrow - you can make plans, but fate might have other ideas.

Shame yes Marian was very shocked and I couldn't hide it from her as she was standing in the study.

It was the dove that sent the squirrel and I think that dove thinks he is the garden manager, as he is forever chasing the female doves around. Reminds me of a mountain goat that I know 🤣

Live every day as if it is your last day is all that I can say 😉

If I would love every day as if it was my last day I would be happy and have fun, but my children wouldn't have anything to eat 🤣

She has a very kind heart and many things of this world shocks her my friend.

So boss dove will also laugh at the boss mountain goat. Or maybe boss dove will feel sorry for boss mountain goat and hand him over to the slaughter house 🤣

Hahaha, not "love" Hannes, but "live" every day as if it's your last. So take care in love for your family and make sure that they will all be okay when your time is up 😉
But maybe you understand this and just are funny again 🤣

Well, I have never tasted goat sausage, but if it tastes like a male goat smells the slaughter house will not be a good idea.

Well a hearse transports many corpses per day, so yes there would be a nation of unpleasant aromas inside the hearse at the end of the day.
You could be right as just maybe a mountain goat will smell a bit better than 20 or 30 corpses. 🤣

I think you have never smelled an Austrian mountain goat, my friend. That's a smell you can't describe, but you will never forget and only thinking of it lets your face colour turn white and green 🤣🤮

The white and the green are only the first colours, because then your face will turn red when you run away from this horrible smell 🤣🤣🤣

This is so true. I think living each day to the fullest is also my approach right now. I guess part of the wisdom that comes with age.

And it's amazing how animals can surprise us every day; that squirrel friend of yours is too cute and seems smart too. Thanks for sharing and happy week!

Thank you and I apologize for the misunderstanding as it is not in my nature to fly off the handle.
Unfortunately we are under much stress here in our work as it is very tough going.

All that I said elsewhere is to live each day as if it's your last and you are correct, as age brings wisdom.

We have on average 5-7 of the squirrels here and each little tyke has it's own character and quirks.
In fact we now also have a loving couple that I thought were twins. I plan to do a post about them tomorrow.

Our job at Papillon is to warm peoples hearts especially the poor, but at times we are also human with our own mistakes and it is how one gets through them that matters.

ah ok, I go feed them in my local park about five minutes away, and have named about ten of them, but they live in different trees and have slightly different markings once you get to know them.

Scarface died two years ago and squirry also disappeared a few moths later.
It is their offspring that continued to live and breed here.

Hahaha, a tad smaller than your Yorkie and a tad smaller than a real rat, as our rats are almost the same size as the squirrels.
Must have eaten poison somewhere as there were no bite marks on it.
