A happy last Friday of this year to all.

Let's end this year with a laugh of gratitude, as we all have survived and tomorrow we enter the new battle.

So without ado, in the first picture I introduce you to one of our new little tykes. We get on average 4 or 5 of them every year and they are quick to take on the habits of the previous generation.
So when Marian told me that there was a desperate little soul at the window behind me, I decided to play a little bit.

Now what? Is the old man going crazy as he put the nuts down and he forgot to open the window?

I better go and call the others so that we can all bang on the window.

So what was going to happen now?

I read her thoughts and placed the nuts out on the walkway below the window.

Another little one came in and breakfast time started.

Happiness reigns as a third one arrived and our day has started.

Can you believe that I got up at all of 10 o'clock this morning? I took a pill last night, and the previous night I only had 3 hours of sleep and so I feel like a new dollar today. Or is it a new six pence? Whatever the saying is, that is how I feel today.
Sleep is an important function in our lives, and if we do not get enough of it, it can seriously start to damage not only our health but also our minds.

In any case, I think that we all understand the importance of getting at least 8 hours of sleep every day. I do not, unfortunately stick to this mantra and I pay the price.
But such is life.

I saw the photos and what I thought was exactly what you were writing, Zac, but I would have used a bit different words because of the desperate look in her eyes. I don't tell you the words, because this should be a nice comment 😁 !LOLZ

Haha, my friend, because also young people and even kids are reading the Hive posts and also the comments, I cannot tell you what the squirrel has said in my mind when you didn't open the window and the poor little squirrel was waiting hungry outside ... I don't want to teach them bad words 😂

I wrote the post for kids and adults and with your reply they might ban us for life on hive.
Hey, life on hive, that rhymes and maybe I can do a poem with it.

Btw. Squirrels don't swear they only go "rrrrrr" and "chichichi" when they fight.
