Edward J. M. D. Plunkett, Baron of Dunsany, was an irish writer who may be regarded as the father of modern fantasy fiction. I really loved Lord Dunsany's tales in The Book of Wonder and his stories about Ireland - which I read many years ago.
Here is a portrait of Lord Dunsany in a imaginary landscape.
