We visited the emerald reservoir in boyaca Colombia.

Visitamos el embalse esmeralda en boyaca Colombia.

Embalse esmeralda or Embalse de chivor was made artificially to generate energy, the people of the macanal region consider this reservoir one of the most beautiful with a beautiful view.
Here the nature is captivating, the mountains are imposing with large and very leafy trees. There is also the emerald mine, it was here where the first emerald was discovered, named patricia, which now rests in a museum in New York City USA.

Embalse esmeralda o Embalse de chivor lo hicieron artificialmente para generar energía, las personas de la región macanal consideran éste embalse uno de los más hermosos con una hermosa vista.
Aquí la naturaleza es cautivadora las montañas son imponentes con árboles grandes y muy frondosos. También está la mina de esmeralda, fue aquí donde se descubrió la primera esmeralda que lleva por nombre patricia que ahora reposa en un museo en la ciudad de New York EEUU.

We took a walk with the guides near the reservoir and to enjoy nature because we love to feel free, it is very cold and most of the things are wet because of the gigantic trees and the immense vegetation, here it is very nice and we could see many birds.
To cross this reservoir they do it by ferry or boat, they also do different practices such as Kitesurfing.

Hicimos una caminata con los guías cerca del embalse y para poder disfrutar de la naturaleza ya que nos encanta sentirnos libre, hay mucho frío y la mayoría de las cosas esta húmedo por los gigantesco árboles que tiene y la inmensa vegetación, aquí es muy bonito y pudimos ver muchas aves.
Para cruzar este embalse lo hacen en férri o barcos, también hacen diferentes prácticas como el Kitesurf.

On the shores we found a simple but nice restaurant and tasted a delicious marrano or pork but it was delicious, take a good coffee well charged to calm the cold because my body is still not adapted and sometimes I can not control my body shaking hahaha I guess in a few more days it will be controlled little by little.

A las orillas nos conseguimos con un restaurante sencillo pero bonito y degustamos un delicioso marrano bueno así le decimos en Venezuela o cerdo pero estuvo delicioso, tome un buen café bien cargado para poder calmar el frío porque mi cuerpo aún no se adapta y a veces no puedo controlar que mi cuerpo tiemble jajaja supongo que en unos días más se vaya controlando poco a poco.
