Times of reflection - Tiempos de reflexión

2021 is coming to an end and, as it happens every year, it is the time when many of us begin to reflect on what happened during the year and start dreaming about what is to come, about what 2022 will bring us.

December is a month when many of us stop running after routine and start to rethink many aspects of our lives.

In these latitudes it is the most beautiful time of the year as we have many hours of sunshine and above all the temperature is conducive to enjoy the beach, the sun and outdoor life. For this reason most people take vacations from their jobs and take the opportunity to rest from the hustle and bustle of a long year and enjoy the family and our affections more freely.

In this last month of the year many feelings come to the surface, where our defenses are lowered and we become a little more vulnerable, perhaps invaded by nostalgia and memories of moments of those years when we were children, of those people who are no longer with us.

After two years where the pandemic has wreaked havoc in our lives, we need to slow down and take time to reflect, to think, to rethink many things and above all to learn.

In a few days we will celebrate another anniversary of the birth of the baby Jesus and that spirit begins to invade our lives. We decorate our homes with lights, ornaments and a beautiful tree that we put together with our children.

Soon we will be sitting at the table as a family sharing beautiful moments that will help to strengthen bonds, and demonstrate those nice feelings when we are with the most precious thing we have in our lives; the family.

December begins, a beautiful month, with an incredible spirit that will surely be unforgettable for all of us.

El 2021 se está terminando y como suele pasar todos los años comienza el tiempo en que muchos de nosotros comenzamos a reflexionar sobre lo sucedido en el año y comenzamos a soñar con lo que vendrá, con lo que nos deparará con el 2022.

Diciembre es un mes donde muchos dejamos de correr detrás de la rutina y comenzamos a replantearnos muchos aspectos de nuestras vidas.

Por estas latitudes es la época más bella del año ya que tenemos muchas horas de sol y sobre todo la temperatura es propicia para disfrutar de la playa, del sol y de la vida al aire libre. Por esta razón la mayor parte de las personas se toman vacaciones en sus trabajos y aprovechan para descansar del ajetreo de un largo año y disfrutar con mayor libertad de la familia y de nuestros afectos.

En este último mes del año afloran muchos sentimientos, donde nuestras defensas bajan y nos volvemos un poco más vulnerables quizá invadidos por la nostalgia y recuerdos de momentos de aquellos años en que éramos niños, de aquellas personas que ya no están con nosotros.

Después de dos años donde la pandemia ha hecho estragos en nuestras vidas, es necesario que bajemos el ritmo y nos tomemos tiempo para reflexionar, para pensar, para replantearnos muchas cosas y sobre todo para aprender.

En pocos días celebraremos un nuevo aniversario del nacimiento del niño Jesús y ese espíritu comienza a invadir nuestras vidas. Decoramos nuestras casas con luces, adornos y un lindo arbolito que armamos con nuestros hijos.

Pronto estaremos sentados a la mesa en familia compartiendo bellos momentos que ayudarán a afianzar lazos, y demostrar esas lindas sensaciones cuando estamos con lo más preciado que tenemos en nuestras vidas; la familia.

Comienza diciembre, un hermoso mes, con un espíritu increíble que seguramente será inolvidable para todos nosotros.
