Mis amadas calandrias - My beloved calandrias

En vacaciones de invierno suelo tomarme una semana para disfrutar en familia porque no dar rienda suelta a mí pasión por las aves.

De paseo en un pequeño pueblo, donde empieza nuestra hermosa Patagonia, salí en una linda caminata por esos paisajes agrestes y casi vírgenes deseando recrear la mente y porque no con la ilusión de hacer alguna lindo disparo con mí cámara a los amigos emplumados.

In winter vacations I usually take a week to enjoy with my family and why not give free rein to my passion for birds.

On a walk in a small town, where our beautiful Patagonia begins, I went on a nice walk through those wild and almost virgin landscapes wishing to recreate the mind and why not with the illusion of making some nice shot with my camera to my feathered friends.

Fue así que me alejé un poco del pueblo y me dirigí a uno de los puntos altos del lugar de donde se puede visualizar con claridad el pequeño pueblo.

Después de contemplar el bello paisaje y la tranquilidad que se respira en aquellos lugares comencé a hurgar en el agreste terreno lleno de plantas pinchudas en busca de mis amadas aves.

Después de caminar unos minutos pude encontrar sobre las ramas altas de un pinchudo piquillín una linda Calandria que parecía estar posando para mí, para que pudiese hacer las mejores tomas de ella.

So I went a little away from the village and headed to one of the high points of the place from where you can clearly see the small town.

After contemplating the beautiful scenery and the tranquility that one breathes in those places, I began to rummage in the rugged terrain full of prickly plants in search of my beloved birds.

After walking for a few minutes I was able to find on the high branches of a pinchudo piquillín a beautiful Calandria that seemed to be posing for me, so that I could take the best shots of it.

Intenté acercarme muy suavemente hacia ella para no alarmarla y una vez que logré una buena distancia sigilosamente preparé mi cámara. mientras tanto ella seguí allí, solo moviéndose cuando alguna ráfaga de viento movía las ramas del pequeño arbusto.

Al ver las tomas por la pantalla de la cámara quedé muy conforme con el resultado, aunque aún faltaba bajarlas a la computadora para ver mejor los detalles, Lamentablemente mi vista no es de las mejores y necesitaba verificar el resultado en una pantalla más grande.

Para serles sincero quedé muy contento con los resultados obtenidos, sobre todo por el tono dorado que pude captar producto de la combinación del sol con las nubes.

I tried to approach her very gently so as not to alarm her and once I got a good distance I stealthily prepared my camera. Meanwhile she was still there, only moving when a gust of wind moved the branches of the small bush.

When I saw the shots on the camera screen I was very happy with the result, although I still had to download them to the computer to see the details better. Unfortunately my eyesight is not the best and I needed to verify the result on a bigger screen.

To be honest, I was very happy with the results, especially for the golden tone that I was able to capture due to the combination of the sun and the clouds.

Ya con estos disparos me sentí más que satisfecho, por lo que decidí seguir caminando por el lugar y contemplando el entorno y disfrutando de mi rato de soledad y silencio, en donde solo escuchaba el sonido del viento y canto de aves, las cuales muchas veces son difíciles de divisar por el color de su plumaje.

Al cabo de algo más de un kilómetro de caminata me encontré con una vieja capilla que parecía estar abandonada. La observé atentamente y cuando fui a la parte trasera de la construcción pude ver dos calandrias muy inquietas yendo y viniendo de un lado hacia el otro.

With these shots I felt more than satisfied, so I decided to continue walking around the place and contemplating the surroundings and enjoying my time of solitude and silence, where I only listened to the sound of the wind and birdsong, which are often difficult to spot because of the color of their plumage.

After a little more than a kilometer of walking I came across an old chapel that seemed to be abandoned. I observed it carefully and when I went to the back of the building I could see two very restless larks coming and going from one side to the other.

Estuve en el lugar intentando observarlas, pero esta vez estaban muy activas moviéndose de un lugar para el otro. Siempre me ha gustado la elegancia de estos pequeños amigos emplumados y además suelen ser muy inquietos.

Allí pude hacer algunos fotos más de estos bellos amigos, aprovechando de las bondades del zoom del lente de mí cámara.

I was on the spot trying to observe them, but this time they were very active moving from one place to another. I have always liked the elegance of these little feathered friends and they are usually very restless.

There I was able to take some more pictures of these beautiful friends, taking advantage of the zoom lens of my camera.

Ya con el sol cayendo en el horizonte hasta del otro día, decidí emprender el viaje de regreso hasta la casa de mis amigos en donde estaba parando, con la satisfacción de haber podido disfrutar de una hermosa tarde junto a mis amigos emplumados!

With the sun already falling on the horizon until the next day, I decided to start the trip back to my friends' house where I was staying, with the satisfaction of having been able to enjoy a beautiful afternoon with my feathered friends!
