To anyone feeling lonely right now.
Hello friends of hive! Did you know that the feeling of loneliness is a wake up call for you to find yourself? To whom might be feeling lonely right now in any part of the world, just know that that lonely feeling is a reminder for you to look within and reconnect with your true being because its really just a moving away from who we are or what we want to be.
My friend called to tell me about her recent mood of loneliness. Complaining that her husband was ever so distant and could not connect with her emotionally. Most of her friends long stopped being in touch after her wedding. It like she was all by herself and alone with no single person that understands her point of view.
She just went on and on letting out her frustration to me as I listened. We talked at length as I also shared my own view of the feeling of loneliness with her. And what I did when I was lonely. Yes, even I felt loneliness at some point in life. Anybody can have this feeling because it is completely natural given some conditions in life but what matters is what we do with the emotion. Do we give power to this emotion and let it weigh us down or do we use it as a check point to start doing or thinking about what really matters?
Looking at that flip side of this emotion is realizing the fact that it gives you the time to look back at things for appraisal. It helps you understand yourself better and make you focus on yourself doing more of what you love as well as helping you find your purpose in life. This feeling is merely calling and signalling you to achieve your dreams and to start now. Even if it means taking baby steps to achieving your dreams. So it is important that you recognize and accept this feeling and more important to take steps to become the man or woman you want to be.
I love to take care of things around me. I love to clean,
water the plants or rearrange my environment in a more pretty way.
This let me take a deep breath of satisfaction as I look around to admire what I have just done. Talk about doing what I want. This is yet another thing to do. Skin care too has the same effect. It helps one feel good and confident in oneself.
Showing kindness to people around will go a long way as well as finding something to be grateful for. Instead on analysing and thinking about all the things that go wrong in your life, it would be nice pick out one or two things and show gratitude.
There is also the place of allowing oneself the pleasure of what we really want as long as it is not encroaching on other people's properties or space. Denying yourself of what you truly need can bring a greater amount of this sensation of forlornness.

Lately, I have been feeling very lonely myself. It has nit be very easy but I've been finding ways to cope. Thank you for this post.
