This furniture of a life!

Hello hive lovers! Did you click on this post to know what I meant by 'this furniture of a life?' because if you did, I'm sorry I don't understand the statement too. Maybe you could shed light on it for me since I have had it in my though for almost 10years now.

Let me explain...

This statement was the first thing I set my eyes on as I entered my undergraduate hostel room far back in the year 2012. It was just there as a cut out statement from a fashion magazine with a beautiful lady dressed elegantly in a wine colored suit standing beside the statement ' This furniture of a life' which was written in bold font. For the four years of my undergraduate course program, I woke up each morning and sleep at night with this statement staring right at me. I wondered and pondered about it too many times trying to catch the gist. What it meant. Where its coming from. The thought of the person who came up with such caption for a magazine. The funny thing is that my roomie, the one who trimmed it out of a magazine and pasted it on the wall didn't know what it meant too. She only loved the lady in the picture, her sheer elegance and dress sense. My roomies's idea of a 'room decor' made a whole lot of sense because it made the walls of our crusty hostel room look less boring.

My mind went back to this statement once again yesterday because of my mood of recent. I was wondering the meaning of life and why so much confusion and not a clear straight forward path to where we are going.

You see, I have been working so hard on a project for close to a year now and it seem like I'm at the end of the incubation period and its ready to fly but all of a sudden I don't feel great about it finally lunching. I don't feel like I'm still connected with the initial idea or purpose of starting it. Its like all the discouragement I had to deal with in the waiting period finally got to me and I'm not sure what I want anymore. Or should I say I feel the need to modify the original idea but I have been meeting some kind of resistance in transforming it into my newest area of interest. But like anything good thing in life, I know I need to give it time to evolve into what I envisioned it to be. I mean, I need to nourish it to full maturity.

An unsatisfying feeling or mood like this always end up with me discovering something great. Like always, I'm taking it easy. Everything will eventually unfold naturally and will make a whole lot of sense in the end.

With that being said, let's come back to the mystery statement and its meaning. I really hope you all reading this post give your perspective on this statement. What does it mean to you? And where does it apply? An example to back up your explanation will go a long way.
