A Good Lesson About Patience
Learning a new skill is ever so exciting to me. I started posting about motherhood when I joined hive but as time went on I read more crypto related contents than I did the everyday people and lifestyle blog post. My curiosity lead me to learning more about blockchain technology

and now I'm with that deep love for it that even my husband thinks it's crazy.
Few months back I started to do spots trading on binance. What is impressive is the fact that I'm new to crypto world and have never really done any of these kinds investments before but with a few youtube video and a starter video on binance, I began my first crypto trading ever. Every video I watched said to buy low and sell high but how low is low and how high should it get before I can sell? Well, I'll never know if I don't make a trade. And so I downloaded the binance app and set it up which in itself was a lot of hassle during my verification but I was able to navigate through and sort myself.
Now, my binance account was ready and I was ready to trade but I didn't have a dime!

Meanwhile each of those videos I watched also said to trade responsibly and not trade with a money I can't afford to loose. Since I was at my lowest financially, I had to wait for my hive cash out day. As soon as I was able to cash out enough to buy 10BUSD (since binance would not allow trading with lesser amount) I immediately jumped into the market and bought some bitcoin which was a ridiculous amount of bitcoin to hold. 10BUSD worth of bitcoin at $44,000 ish was about 0.00022btc. Like you'll be thinking by now, I bought when it was somewhat high but I sold it as it climbed towards $45,000 and I made a few cents in December. I was elated. I immediately did some calculations as to how I will continue to buy low and sell high daily. I learned my first lesson about excitement and expectations when I bought at a price I thought was low only to have it fall as low as $40,000 in January.
Did you say leave it there? Remember I was broke. I needed the money but since leaving it was the wisest thing to do, I left it for a while before sell off at a price that is fair enough but still a loss for me. The heartbreak was when the btc started rising the very minute I sold it and getting to the original value I got it for, the same value I had waited for it to reach for days. At this point, I started to think some forces were there to frustrate me. Hahahahahaha

I mean, I thought I finally found a way to make some daily income only for it to wait till I sold out of impatience before it went up.
What did I do afterwards? I put a pause on trading btc and jumped to etherium. By my calculation, it was going go give me more gains if I traded carefully. Well, so far so good. I have been making little money. Some days a miss, but mostly gains.
There is a whole lot of money to make in the crypto world but one has to be patient to observe, learn and try.
What's your first few days in the crypto world like?
