Favorite Spot in My City - Cat Park😻

Hello dear Pinmapple community

Today I will introduce you to Atatürk Culture Park, one of my favorite spots in the city I live in. First of all, spoiler alert, there are lots of cat photos 😸 in this post.

This beautiful park is located in Antalya, Turkey. One of my favorite things about the park is that it is located in the center of the city. You can get away from the traffic, the crowd of the city and find yourself in touch with nature. The name of the park is Atatürk Culture Park, but I call it "cat park😺". It is possible to see cats at every point of the park. These cats are fed by volunteers. That's why I love going to this park, and when I go for a walk, I always meet my cat-loving needs.

I haven't been walking for a long time due to the cold weather. As we enter March, the weather has started to warm up. Although it was cloudy and overcast today, it wasn't too cold. That's why I went for a walk. I wanted to enjoy this view with my headphones in my ear. While we were out for a walk, I took pictures of this park for you.

This park is located above the world-famous Konyaaltı beach. Antalya is famous for its Cliffs. The park is located at the top of the cliffs. You can go directly to the beach with the stairs or the two elevators in the park. I love picnicking in these green areas in the park, especially in spring. Although I am lazy, it is nice to enjoy coffee and a book with this view.

As you can see in the photo to the side, cats come out of everywhere. I can say that our lovely friends enjoy the view the most. Of course, you can enjoy this beautiful view by sitting in the cafes in the park or sitting on the banisters here. There are two cafes in the park. The views of these cafes are also quite beautiful. I especially recommend you to taste traditional samovar tea and Turkish pancakes at the place called "Kır Kahvesi".

Look who's eating. Here I came across kitties drinking milk and eating cat food.

There is also a small lake in the park. You can sit around this lake and watch the fish and ducks in the lake.

Art events are also held in the park. The city's film festival, Golden Orange, is held at the Atatürk Cultural Center in this park. The Golden Orange Film Festival is also one of the most important film festivals in Turkey. In addition, concerts and theaters are held at the Konyaaltı Open Air Theater, which is also located in this park.

10.jpg

In addition, fairs are held in the Glass Pyramid, which is also located in the park. For example, Antalya Book Fair is held here now. I couldn't go to the book fair today because I went in my sports clothes, but I'm planning to visit the fair on Monday.

11.jpg

As can be seen, our dear friend has taken the bench. Busy with cleaning😹

12.jpg

I love this view of the city. The area where I took the photo is the Konyaaltı region, and the area across is the other side of the city called Lara.

I'm ending my post for today. There are many more must-see spots in Antalya, and I plan to introduce them to you over time.

I hope you like it 🙃
