Staying True To Myself - Wk #201
I think, personally, both honesty and being true to yourself are invaluable qualities; each of these carries its own significance, depending on the context they are being put in.
I think honesty has a way of forming a foundation of trust and integrity in any given relationship, be it within the family, amongst friends, or even with colleagues, while being true to oneself opens up communication and genuine connections.
But since I have to choose between the two, I would go for being true to myself because being true to oneself is paramount and essential for one's personal growth. It has to do with you living truly and genuinely for yourself. You need to make sure your actions and choices align with your values, beliefs, and goals.
In my opinion, being true to myself has really helped me to be content with what I have, and it has given me this inner peace. I don't bother with what I don't have, as I learn to live within my means.
I have trained myself and mastered the art of being true to myself. There is no evil that can befall any individual other than self-deception. It is so dangerous because it blindfolds the individual to areas of his or her life that need definite adjustments or improvements. Self-deception is so terrible because it is equivalent to living in denial.
When you are true to yourself, your growth process becomes interesting because you will see what you need to work on and work on it.

This is very on point ma. Being true to oneself is the best gift we can give to ourselves if we desire true happiness and growth.
What is there to gain in deceit? Absolutely nothing
Seriously there's nothing to gain in deceit. Thank you for your comment 😌
