Mr Felix

If I was asked to rate Mr. Felix who was my mathematics teacher back then in the primary school, I would have said allot of things am not supposed to say about him but since I grew up and now in the high school, I can see the excess benefits of whatever Mr. Felix has been doing to me in the primary school.

There is this saying that says "spare the rod and spoil the child", Mr. Felix didn't spare the rod, he makes sure I don't go free without punishment for failing his subject in class which is mathematics. I remember how my mum will report cases of my mischievous attitude and behavior at home to Mr. Felix in school, I will be chastised and punished enormously by my teacher for offending my mum at home.
On that note, Mr. Felix doesn't only discipline me when it comes to school activities but also things that has to do with my behaviors at home also. If I was to rate Mr. Felix for all he was doing to me back then in the primary school, I would have categorize him as a wicked teacher because of how he doesn't spare me whenever I commit an offense but today I can attest to the fact that he played a very big role in my learning pursuit.

Today I find arithmetics a bit easier because of the good impact on me from Mr Felix, that discipline built the foundation of my love for science courses because science and calculations is just like two side of a coin. The training Mr. Felix gave me helped me to be brave and not to fear any subject again expecially mathematics. I am really happy and thankful that he didn't over look my flaws but corrected them in the appropriate way and manner he should. I greet him very differently whenever I come across him anywhere because he is a helper to me and a good one for that.

There are teachers that don't care about what happens to the student either now or whenever and this type of teachers can be spotted through their nonchalant attitude to student. Throughout my senior secondary school two (SSS2) first term, our physics teacher came to class not more than three times to teach us and painfully he has been coming to school. If I should rate him of all he has done to us it very obvious I will say he was a bad teacher to me because he robbed me of the knowledge I was supposed to acquire from him.

We can't be able to rate our teachers very well if not now that we can see the result of whatever they've done for us back then. Time has exposed greatly that I had a wonderful teacher Mr. Felix who has helped me be the person I am today both in character and in learning. I don't know but I am sure that it would have been too bad for me now if he had pampered me when I needed discipline. I don't love him before but I realize how much he loved me for doing everything he did for me.
