A SONG THAT STIRS MY HEART//LOH91

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? Happy new week to all of us, I hope and pray this week brings the best for us all. And as we start the week with enough strength, may that strength still remain with us till the week ends.

Name a song, any song, happy or sad, that stirs your heart and soul everytime you hear it. What memories, feelings, emotions, and images does the song bring back? Is there a story that goes with the song?

Music is what gives me strength whenever I'm sad or weak, I play music to cheer myself up and aside playing music when I'm down, I also love to listen to different music almost all the time. I can just decide to use my headset to listen to my music or decide to play it loud.

Each song we listen to has a meaning, we can either interpret the song to our own meaning depending on how deep the song is to us. Some people might actually prefer to listen to sad music based on what they have experienced in life. Many might have gone through a lot and the only way they can get through it is just to listen to a sad music. Some might not like to listen to anything that will remind them of their past, instead they will rather go with songs that will always keep or make them happy. Which ever one we choose to listen to, as far it read a meaning to our lives.

I'm a person who can listen to both sad and happy songs, depending on my mood that very moment. Yes you heard me right, my present mood determines the type of music I will listen to and each songs I listen to always carry a deep meaning with it.

I will only talk about one particular song which brings both good and sad memories to me. It's a song by ***Sam Smith titled Lay Me Down,**** this has been one of my favorite songs for years now.

How I got to know the song

When I was still a teenager, you know how we do things na😂, we get to date people who we think are in love with us but later feel disappointed at the decision they make at the end. I dated this guy and we were very close, he usually play this song because he knows how to play guitar so I got to love the song too. He played it for me on several occasions and I could remember how he used to look straight to my eyes smiling while playing the guitar. We were so much in love that wherever I hear the song, I will always sing along with a big smile on my face. This song reminds me of the happy moments we spent together.

When the relationship ended, it was hard to let go but life continues, I had to move on. But this particular lyrics made me strong and to move on with my life

It was later I got to understand that nothing is meant to last forever, I enjoyed the relationship while it lasted and I'm happy we were able to create beautiful memories.
