Les cuento que hoy en la mañana, cuando regaba las plantas en el balcón, me di cuenta que mi esposa tenía una maceta plástica en una bolsa, enseguida le pregunté por esa maceta y me dijo que la tenía allí para que me la llevara para el campo porque estaba demasiada manchada y descolorida por el sol, bueno amigos, sin pensarlo dos veces la saqué de la bolsa con la idea de restaurarla,
les confieso, que por unos minutos estuve pensando como cambiarle la imagen a esta maceta para hacerla más atractiva, y pensando y pensando, me vino a la mente la idea de colocarle unas ramas con hojas usando la membrana de la palma, también se me ocurrió, pintarla con una combinación de varios colores como el verde, marrón rosado y un toque con dorado metalizado.

Restaurando una maceta vieja, manchada y descolorida

Si amigos, esta maceta estuvo a punto de viajar para el campo, quizás allá la hubiesen roto, porque en varias ocasiones he llevado plantas en macetas para trasplantarlas y en lugar de sacarlas con cuidado, los muchachos lo que hacen es romper la maceta. Bueno amigos, hoy he salvado esta maceta, y les diré algo, para este momento en que estoy escribiendo esta publicación, todavía mi esposa no ha visto la nueva imagen de esta maceta.

Esta es la maceta que voy a restaurar:

Materiales:

• Pinturas: rosado, verde, dorado, marrón.
• Membrana de la palma ( Chaguaramo)
• Silicón de barra
• Pega blanca de carpintería

¿En qué consiste la restauración?

Como les decía al comienzo, la idea es decorar la maceta con varias ramas con sus respectivas hojas, estas hojas las voy a elaborar con la membrana seca de la palma, muy conocida como "Chaguaramos", también quiero darle un toque decorativo aplicando varios colores sobre la superficie de la maceta, esto lo haré haciendo varios puntos con el pincel, una vez colocadas las ramas, les daré un toque con pintura dorada metalizada, solo para darle brillo a las hojas y a los tallos.

Pasos para la restauración de la maceta:

• Paso-1: Lo primero es lavar la maceta, procurando remover todo el sucio para que la pintura y las ramas que voy a colocar, se adhieran:

• Paso-2: Lo siguiente será, la elaboración de las hojas con la membrana de la palma, debo decirles que para que este material quede suave, tuve que meterlo en agua por varios minutos. En las imágenes podrán ver el corte que hago para elaborar las hojas:

• Paso-3: Con respecto al tallo de la rama, también lo corté de la membrana de la palma:

• Paso-4: Una vez hechas las hojas, ahora voy a comenzar a elaborar las ramas sobre la maceta, primero voy a colocar los tallos y luego las hojas:

• Paso-5: Ahora voy a darle unos toques de pintura a la maceta, para esto voy a utilizar varios colores, como el rosado, verde, marrón, la idea es decorar las paredes de la maceta con la combinación de varios colores, pero en forma de puntos irregulares o abstractos, hechos con el pincel:

• Paso-6: Para que la rama tengan algo de brillo, les voy a dar un toque con la pintura dorada metalizada:
