Mirando el rostro de la gente
caminas, tropiezas, divagas
transeúnte solitario
en la ciudad luminosa.
Siempre aparece
en cada esquina, en cada café
su imagen es como tu sombra
parece perseguirte, sin descanso.
Te sumerges en tu celular
para dejar pasar el tiempo
y ya no sabes si eliges
entre un recuerdo y un lugar.
Te sientes marginado
de la alegría cotidiana
lejano y extraño sientes al viento
que te tropieza en la avenida.
Te sientes perdido
entre lo que vendrá y la nostalgia
lejano sientes al amigo
que te saluda desde una esquina.
Transeúnte de este tiempo
las noches siguen al día
las cortinas y las ventanas
esconden tu llanto y tus sollozos.

on every corner, in every cafe
