About two months ago I connected with a new hobby, drawing, this is an activity that I started to practice and I have discovered that I enjoy and it relaxes me a lot. My goal with drawing is not to be a professional at it, but rather to enjoy the process, to allow myself this space for play and entertainment.

As a child I liked drawing a lot, but as a teenager I abandoned it because I focused more on music. Now, I reconnected with drawing thanks to a friend, one day she visited me and I took out a mandala coloring book that I had hidden, that awakened my interest in drawing again and soon I went from coloring mandalas to making drawings with invented patterns.

Now, I have decided to give myself a beautiful black notebook to draw, so I can have this special space where I can let my creativity go.

I would like to share with you my process of experimentation in this new hobby, so from time to time I will upload some of my own sketches.

Hace unos dos meses atrás conecté con un nuevo pasatiempo, dibujar, esta es una actividad que empecé a practicar y he descubierto que me divierte y relaja muchísimo. Mi meta con el dibujo no es ser profesional en ello, sino mas bien disfrutar del proceso, permitirme este espacio de juego y entretenimiento.

De niña me gustaba mucho dibujar, pero en la adolescencia lo abandoné ya que me concentré más en la música. Ahora, volví a conectar con el dibujo gracias a una amiga, un día ella me visitó y yo saqué un libro para colorear mandalas que tenía guardado, eso me despertó el interés de nuevo por el dibujo y al poco tiempo pasé de colorear mandalas a hacer dibujos con patrones inventados.

Ahora, he decidido regalarme una preciosa libreta negra para dibujar y así tener este espacio especial donde dejar ir la creatividad.

Me gustaría compartir junto a ustedes mi proceso de experimentación en este nuevo hobby así que de vez en cuando subiré algunos de mis dibujos por acá en Hive.
