Birthday outfit 2023! [ENG|SPA]

What’s up guys! I hope you’re well. Today I come to show you the outfit I wore on my birthday ☺️ For my party I established a dress code, I wanted all attendees to be dressed in white because the place has neon lights, so by wearing white the lights were going to bounce nice on the clothes and give it brightness.

For this special day I wanted to wear something nice but also very comfortable, so I wore:

A black sweater, because at the beginning of the day it was getting very cold and I thought that wearing a sweater was going to be necessary, and also because I think it gives more flow to the outfit, but to be honest after a couple of hours I regretted a little bit to wear the sweater because it was getting warm in the store and the more I played, the hotter I felt, but I held my own and I died with my whole outfit 😂.

On top an oversize white flannel, which has a phrase that I really like: "good things take time", a great truth. I love this shirt because of the phrase, the typography and the color, and I wanted to use it for the first time on my birthday, it was very nice because many friends commented on how cool the phrase and the flannel were, so it was a good decision.

I paired this with a black pants high cut, which is super soft, and my white sneakers that matched the shirt and also assure me comfort.

As for the makeup, this year I wanted to wear a super colorful palette, I chose fuchsia for the eyelid, with silver glitter details in the eyeshadow, and apple green for the lower part of the eye, which I knew was going to shine with the neon lights of the place. Something simple to do and that adds a striking and colorful detail to the rest of the outfit.

The process of doing the makeup was complicated because I had to do it without having light at home, just lighting myself with the lamp of my cell phone, it was unsettling the process of doing it because I didn't know how it was going to look under better lighting, but for my luck it was pretty and given the extraordinary circumstances I feel good with the result.

¡Que dice la gente! Espero se encuentren bien. El día de hoy vengo a mostrarles el outfit que utilicé el día de mi cumpleaños ☺️ Para mi fiesta establecí un código de color en la vestimenta, quise que todos los asistentes fuesen vestidos de blanco ya que el local cuenta con luces de neón, así al vestir de blanco las luces iban a rebotar bonito en la ropa y darle brillo.

Para este día especial quería usar algo bonito pero también muy cómodo, así que me coloqué:

Un suéter negro, porque al inicio del día estaba haciendo mucho frío y me pareció que llevar suéter iba a ser necesario, y también porque me parece que le da mas flow al outfit, pero siendo sincera al par de horas me arrepentí un poco de colocarme el suéter pues estaba haciendo calor en el local y mientras mas jugaba, mas calor sentía, pero aguanté la pela y morí con mi outfit enterito 😂

Encima una franela blanca oversize, la cual tiene una frase que me gusta mucho: “good things take time”, que en español se traduce como “las cosas buenas toman tiempo”, una gran verdad. A mi me encanta esta franela por la frase, la tipografía y el color, y quise estrenarla el día de mi cumpleaños, fue muy cool porque muchos amigos me hicieron comentarios sobre lo cool que estaba la frase y la franela, así que fue una buena decisión.

Acompañe esto con un pantalón negro de corte alto, el cual es super suave, y mis zapatos deportivos blancos que hacían match con la franela y además me aseguran comodidad.

En cuanto al makeup, este año quise llevar una paleta super colorida, elegí fucsia para el párpado, con detalles de brillantina plateada en la sombra, y verde manzana para la parte inferior del ojo, el cual sabía que iba a brillar con las luces de neón del local. Algo sencillo de hacer y que suma un detalle llamativo y colorido al resto del outfit.

El proceso de hacer el makeup fue complicado porque tuve que maquillarme sin tener luz en casa, tan solo alumbrándome con la lámpara del celular, fue inquietante el proceso de hacerlo pues no sabía como iba a verse bajo una mejor iluminación, pero para mi suerte quedó bonito y dadas las extraordinarias circunstancias me siento bien con el resultado.

Este ha sido mi outfit de cumpleañera, de verdad me gustó mucho como quedó, creo que la próxima lo repetiría pero sin el suéter debajo para probar que tal. ¿A ustedes que les parece? ¡Cuéntenme! Los leo en los comentarios.
