Poker face

As a portrait photographer, I often face interesting challenges in my work. One of them is portraying people who are not very expressive.

My friend has an amazing personality, she's funny and has a great sense of humor, yet she tends to have a poker face. This is a challenge for photographers who always want smiling portraits with a variety of fun and spontaneous expressions.

But what happens when the spontaneity is a sober expression?

In this case I prefer to capture the essence of each person, whatever their expression and be true to their personality. It's not the first and I don't think it will be the last time I have to photograph a girl who makes incredible poses with a poker face.

She would often come to my studio to hang out taking photos and chatting, these pictures are part of a photo shoot we did a while back. I have many portraits of her that I hope to share with you later.
