A warm moment

All of us who have seen the typical American romantic, pink comedy and Christmas movies have surely come to imagine ourselves immersed in those scenarios with a warm atmosphere typical of the cold seasons projected by American cinema. Thanks to the magic of photography, we can recreate these scenes almost anywhere with very few elements.

When Anny approached me with the idea of recreating the aesthetics of American romantic films, I knew we would have an excellent result. From my perspective as a photographer, I see the beauty in every detail. Capturing that sparkle in the eyes under the soft blanket of a sweater, the unexpected moments of warmth, make photography a truly inspiring experience.

One of the most appealing aspects of this approach is the striking contrast that Black and White photography provides. Despite the lack of color, or perhaps because of its absence, these portraits seem to speak directly to the soul, presenting a deeper, more reflective side of Anny's personality. Seeing her face illuminated under soft lights and shadows, it's hard for me not to be moved by the result of these portraits that tell a story.

There is nothing better than capturing the spontaneity of moments, it makes it even more real. Just like a movie, your life is full of unexpected twists and turns, and photography has the amazing ability to freeze those moments and make them last forever.
